Few car shows are as original as the Misfit Garage and fewer still have grown as big and popular. A spin-off of Fast n Loud, Misfit Garage went on to become equally successful as its original series, with 6 super hit seasons in its resume. The car restoration reality show airing on the Discovery channel has a huge fan base across the nation. Every episode features a battered and bruised old car brought in by a client or the staff which is then restored to its full glory. The show had first aired on October 13, 2014, and it was not long before the staff became household names. Controversies come irrevocably attached to success and Misfit Garage is no exception. The show hit headlines for the wrong reasons when most of the main staff quit out of nowhere.

Misfit Garage was co-produced by famous entrepreneur Richard Rawlings, also known for a host of successful car shows and businesses like Gas Monkey Garage, Fast N Loud, Garage Rehab, etc. However, Misfit Garage was special. It was one of the first shows to bring Richard under the spotlight, all thanks to a brilliant performance and unwavering engagement by the series’ immensely popular and talented staff most notably, Tom Smith, Jordan Butler, Thomas Weeks, Scott McMillan, etc. The cast keeps on changing through the seasons but the show has done fairly well for itself so far. Fun fact: Tom Smith and Jordan Butler were the original members of Fast N Loud before being cast on Misfit Garage. Rawlings means oodles of drama and it didn’t seem out of character when the show Fast N Loud fired these two lead hosts after a heated argument ensued between them and Rawlings himself. Later it was also said that the firing had been staged so that Butler and Smith could leave the show and kickstart Misfit Garage, or to get attention from the viewers and mainstream media or maybe both (no one will ever know for sure).

The reality TV show Misfit Garage has come a long way since the date of airing its first episode in 2014. However, there has been no news on the main cast for long after the last season. Read their whereabouts in this exclusive story.

Although a spin-off with six seasons filled with cars and drama, Misfit Garage has been very successful in its own right. If you are curious about the whereabouts of the cast from Misfit Garage, read on through the end.

The most talented mechanic from the team Misfit Garage, Tom Smith was most known for his hilarious one-liners. All this time and yet, fans have all but forgotten Smith. Fun fact: the name of the garage Fired Up Garage has been borrowed from Tom’s childhood. Turns out he always had a dream of owning a garage named F&U.

Tom is also a professional stand-up comic and he regularly performs at several improv clubs. On the side, he also works on personal and client car projects about which he keeps his fans informed through regular posts. Even while filming the show, Tom had been moonlighting as a comedian and he appears to have been giving it more time these days. Tom’s been performing live comedy sessions through the COVID-19 pandemic. He also helps to rescue and transport needy dogs. In a Facebook post, about a month ago, much to the delight of his fans, Tom hinted about the chances of him getting an auto mod show of his own. He is pretty active on his social media accounts and you can follow him @tomsmiththecarguy on Facebook.

Jordan Butler had quit Misfit Garage in 2014 because he allegedly did not want to move to a new shop or work with a new partner. Jordan who was also the co-founder was most known for his kick-ass style and laying the groundwork for the reality TV show alongside Tom. Butler owns his garage in addition to some part (exactly how much is not clear) of Fired Up Garage. He used to regularly posts stuff about new projects on his social but isn’t very active since 2018. He is enjoying some family time with his best friend turned wife and two adorable kids. Butler can be found @jordanbutler Fired Up Garage on Facebook.

He is currently working full-time building hot rods in his garage along with his business partner Jeff Dunlap. Scot is more than active on his social and actively posts about his current projects to engage with his followers. He can be found on Facebook and Instagram @scotrodsgarage.
