With eight DVD's, two television seasons, a full-length movie, and enough medical bills to fill an entire hard drive to its name, Nitro Circus earned the reputation for being the stunt show that always delivered on their promise of being the best action sports performers in the world, whether or not they made it to the other side in one piece or not.

Travis Pastrana's project started in 2003 and takes the simple concept of building the most enormous ramps possible and sending motorcycles, BMX bikes, cars, trucks, or just about anything with or without wheels that you could conceivably shove down a 45-degree ramp at breakneck speeds, and turns it into a beautifully executed piece of performance art. The fantastic spectacle came to a halt only after a global pandemic forced its temporary shutdown.

Dozens of outstanding performers have come and gone from the extraordinary spectacle, though a few long time contributors stand out as the heart and soul of Nitro Circus. Co-producers Jeremy Rawle and Gregg Godfrey had been with the show since its inception 17 years ago. Streetbike Tommy, on the other hand, is responsible for what is the stunt-gone-wrong that made the Nitro Circus a national phenomenon.

Apart from their work on Nitro Circus, all these men lead exciting lives outside of the show. Here's what the cast of Nitro Circus has been up to since leaving the show.

To say Travis Pastrana is the Evel Knievel of the 21st century would not be hyperbole. In fact, he's made motorcycle jumps that equal or even bested Knievel's record on several occasions with Nitro Circus and independently. It makes perfect sense then that in his spare time, he enjoys a good race or two.

Actually, Pastrana's been racing almost as long as he's been performing death-defying stunts for a living. He's competed in Rally Racing, as well as RallyCross, Rolex Sports Car Series, and most famously, NASCAR.

This past September, Pastrana announced that he'd be returning to stock car racing in the NASCAR Gander RV & Outdoors Truck Series. Some of the greatest racing drivers in history made their names in a single racing discipline, whether open wheel or closed, two wheels or four while failing to do much in another. Pastrana's goal is to prove that he's not just a stunt performer whose primary skill is maiming himself on national TV; he's an honest to god racing driver as well.

That kind of plotline is worthy of a movie in itself, and maybe even reason enough for NASCAR to have its own TV show. If only to show off his new one of a kind Subaru rally car.

Jeremy Rawle

Maybe you wouldn't peg one of the co-producers of Nitro Circus as being a connoisseur of fine American whiskey. Well, believe it when we say it's the real deal. Black Feather: American Whiskey is Jeremy Rawle's post-Nitro Circus passion project. The website's "about us" section tells all one needs to know about how passionate he feels about his new brainchild.

"Black Feather is whiskey with the same principles by which we try to live. Easy going, but hard working. Honest with no b*****t. Welcoming but full of fire. A need to be free, but also belong. American whiskey as innately American as a whiskey can be."

His distillery, founded through investors who worked at NitroCircus, has earned high praise for their whiskey and bourbon selections. Including a shoutout in Forbes magazine. Sadly, hints of motor oil, broken bones, and burnt flesh were not included in the flavor profile.

Gregg Godfrey

Gregg Godfrey founded Nitro Circus with Travis Pastrana in his garage in 2003 but has kept a relatively low profile in recent years. He leads a comparably unremarkable life after leaving the show, where he became hailed as the co-founder of one of the world's most popular extreme sports brands.

Still living in his hometown of Draper, Utah, with his wife, his efforts to preserve a beloved piece of the town's history made the local newspaper. Who revealed Goddfrey's company Godfrey Properties & Design, had purchased the building that once housed the Draper Park School. Built-in 1912, the building was closed and then added to the U.S. National Register of Historic Places in 1980. Godfrey saved the building from demolition and plans to turn the site into a new production headquarters for his company and offer office space to other businesses in the area.

Streetbike Tommy

When he famously jumped and flipped his Suzuki GSX-4 over a foam pit intended to catch him, "Streetbike" Tommy Passemante miraculously didn't snap his neck or get crushed by the bike. Instead, he instantly became the most beloved Nitro Circus member.

It's his physics-defying defiance in the face of certain death, and surviving was the first Nitro Circus clip to really catch people's attention, and there's no telling where the series could have gone if not for his antics being caught on tape for the world to see.

These days, Tommy attempts to jump hurdles in another profession. Like Jeremy Rawles, Tommy is a fan of making your taste buds explode with flavor, although this time, it's smoked meat instead of liquor. Tommy Opened LoonyBinBBQ in 2016, and ever since, he's traded tire smoke for hickory smoke for his wagyu smoked brisket, among other mouth-watering options. Unfortunately, Struggles seemingly stemming from the Covid pandemic caused the restaurant to close in February. "Given my track record of failing in spectacular fashion, this is no different. I have fallen down before. What makes me fun to watch is my ability to get back up. This is just another opportunity to get back up. This situation does have a silver lining; it's one heck of a learning experience, it's made me a much better person. I will come out on the other side of this stronger than ever." Godfrey said on his Instagram.

Here's wishing him the best in the future.
