When it comes to high performance V8 cars, one of the first cars that comes to mind for many people is the Ford Mustang with its loud V8 and rear-wheel drive layout making it a great platform to work on. Outside of the Shelby models, the Mustang has always been naturally aspirated, but for some people that just isn't enough for their performance thrills. The Mustang has been a popular platform for drag racing since its inception, and YouTuber Boosted Lifestyle has stayed true to his channel name and created a monster of an engine for his Mustang drag car.

The Mustang Features Eight Turbochargers

This YouTuber used the Mustang platform for his drag car builds in the past, but decided to do something seriously ridiculous to his current drag car. The current SN95 generation Mustang in use was previously fitted with a blower, bumper-exit exhaust, and some upgrades on the engine, but the YouTuber decided to connect eight KO3 turbos to his car, as well as four Black Sheep wastegates on top of cstom fabricated engine work to keep everything together properly.

The Build Was Filmed And Cut Into Eight Minutes

In the span of eight minutes after being dramatically condensed, the build comes to life from a near stock motor to an eight-turbo monster. With custom piping being made as needed, the YouTuber connected hoses and piping together for the setup with the turbos. After the initial connections were made, the car was started up without issue. Without taking any time after, the rest of the setup was built and attached to complete the turbo setup.

The Finished Project Made The Mustang A Fire-Breathing Monster

Once the car was put together, it was fired up again and redlined, filling the garage with smoke. The car was then brought outside for some looks in the sun. Before lining up on the dyno to test the final result, the car was driven around on the snow with surprising ease.

On the dyno, the car finally got to stretch its newly-muscular legs, revving up to a maximum of nearly 7,000 rpm. The result was a fairly impressive 737 horsepower with a massive torque figure. Although there are many fast drag cars, this home-built monster Mustang and its eight turbos makes quite a scene as it blasts fire out of it's engine.
