Honda is celebrating their 50th anniversary in Australia in regal fashion.

The brand has been an ever-present in the Australian market since 1969 and has decided to commemorate their 50th operational year in the country with a range of products fit for a King, per their official website.

The automakers have unveiled a variety of machines, from bikes to cars - and even lawnmowers - all in gold finish, aided by gold foil created and applied by Vinyl Wraps and Graphics as part of a partnership.

The color of choice is not random either, with the company's 50th anniversary branded the golden one.

Honda's flagship sportscars, the NSX Supercar and the Type R were the ones chosen to mark the momentous occasion. The CBR100RR Fireblade superbike, CRF450L enduro motorcycle, and the CRF50F Kids fun bike were also selected, while the HRU19 Buffalo Premium, a lawnmower designed and assembled in Australia, and the EU22i generator were put on display as in gold well.

“We thought about how we could celebrate our birthday, and our unique diversity in a bold and fun way. I mean, who has ever seen a golden mower or generator before?”, the company's Australia Managing Director and CEO, Hiroyuki Shimizu, declared.

“We’re looking forward to showcasing these amazing golden products around the country throughout 2019, so stay tuned for more information on that."

“Honda products have been instrumental in shaping the landscape of modern Australia over the last 50 years – take the CT110, more commonly known as the Australia Post, ‘postie bike’, which has helped deliver the mail to Australians all across the country for generations,” Honda Motorcycle and Power Equipment Managing Director, Robert Toscano, chimed in.

“I am proud to have been a part of the journey so far and it’s fantastic for us to celebrate this together, we all look forward to the future and the next 50 years of Honda in Australia.”

Unfortunately, however, none of these will be up for grabs as Honda made them specifically for celebratory and promotional purposes. They won't be going up for sale unless you are able to come up with an offer they simply cannot refuse.
