The Fox-bodied 1993 Ford SVT Mustang Cobra R was a special, higher-performance version of the production 1993 SVT Mustang Cobra. It was a very rare model, with only 107 examples coming out of production line. If you're a fan and haven't had a chance to own a 1993 Ford Mustang Cobra R, perhaps a Hot Wheels version of the snake in a fox body would be a mouth-watering deal.

Keeping It Close To The Original

Also meant to showcase Ford's newly formed Special Vehicle Team, the 1993 Mustang Cobra R had anything that adds weight removed including the radio, air-conditioning, rear seat and even sound dampening material. It offers track-inspired handling, thanks to MacPherson struts and Koni shocks. Only finished in red, 1993 Mustang Cobra R was powered by a 235-hp V8 mill that enables a 0-60 mph sprint time of 5.7 seconds and a top speed of 140 mph.

Hot Wheels' die cast iteration of the 1993 Mustang Cobra R is seemingly a faithful recreation of the original model. Using a full-metal, matte black-painted ZAMAC chassis, the Hot Wheels Mustang Cobra R is wrapped in Spectraflame red with authentic manufacturer logos. Its Real Riders 5-spoke modern wheels (with matte black hubs) are complemented by light smoke-tinted windows. It also features a black interior with gray-painted details as well as an opening hood.

Only Available To Red Line Club

There's a huge twist to the whole offer, however, since it's exclusive to the members of the Red Line Club (RLC). RLC is a community of Hot Wheels collectors open to all fans and enthusiasts of the brand's die cast creations. The exclusive offer means only RLC members can avail of the 1993 Mustang Cobra R die cast.

Hot Wheels won’t limit the production, but will only built according to the number of orders made by RLC members. At an order rate of one die cast per account, members would be discouraged to sell their Hot Wheels 1993 Mustang Cobra R die cast.
