If you are looking to get a cheap supercar, here are some examples of what could happen. In the latest episode of CarTrek season 2, YouTubers Ed Bolian of VinWiki, Tyler Hoover, and Freddy from Tavarish to test out who has bought the best depreciated supercar. Today, the cars were appraised on how much they would go for in an exotic rental business.

The First Problem

The first thing to note is that Freddy's Maserati is not shown much in the video, as it caught on fire and burned in the previous episode. The resulting damage from the electrical fire means that Freddy's Maserati is out of the running for now. As for Ed and Tyler, the two set off for Royalty Exotic Car Rentals in Las Vegas, Nevada for an appraisal of the cars values as rentals. Knowing how both cars drive and how far they have fallen since being sold new, the response on these cars was raised into a high-stakes game when Houston, the owner said that the one with the car worth more would receive a Lamborghini Aventador S while the other would receive a Polaris Slingshot.

After discussing the challenge, Houston continued with evaluating the Aston Martin Vanquish. After Ed told him about only half the buttons and controls working, as well as the lack of air conditioning, Houston said the car would be worth around $1,000 per day. As for Tyler's CL65 AMG, for once every button and switch worked in a car. Even with everything working, Houston only estimated around $200 per day since the car does not have much of a market with rentals. This landed Ed in the Aventador S and Tyler miserably in the Slingshot.

The Price To Pay

With his win at $1,000 per day, Ed piled into the Aventador S for what was his first drive in the newer model. Tyler on the other hand claimed the Slingshot was "the worst car I've ever driven" with it's lack of air conditioning in the Nevada heat. After multiple passers-by said they would choose the Aston over the Mercedes, the two called it for the night after being told their cars would have a torture test the next day. To make sure Freddy was included, Ed bought him a car with about 140,000 miles, multiple dash lights, and brought the price down to $9,000 before the next morning.
