By the end of 2025, Hyundai is expected to have the largest range of electric vehicles (EVs) among all the manufacturers in the industry.

During the 2020 CEO Investor Day, Hyundai Motor Company announced an updated roadmap for its future business - 'Strategy 2025.' The company CEO Wonhee Lee announced this strategy, and he said the Hyundai team plans to lead the way for future EVs. He also said that the company would act as a Smart Mobility Solution Provider.

The company aims to achieve three major objectives by the end of 2025. The first one is to challenge rival car manufacturers through electrification. The second objective is to become a leading mobility service, and the third is to launch a hydrogen fuel cell system.

In 2025, Hyundai will unveil a brand-new Integrated Modular Architecture (IMA). The IMA will be an evolved platform of the current electric global modular platform (E-GMP). The reason why this platform is so cool is that it will have flexible battery packs that can connect to any model to increase cost-effectiveness. Additionally, it will work with five different kinds of electric motors.

Let's find out more about 'Strategy 2025' and how it will help Hyundai dominate the EV market.

Because Hyundai is a Smart Mobility Solution Provider, it's already developing UAM, an innovative means of transportation that will help reduce urban congestion and improve people's quality of life.

Urban Air Mobility (UAM) is the use of small, highly automated aircraft to carry passengers or cargo at lower altitudes in urban and suburban areas. This technology is supposed to help reduce traffic congestion and to link people to cities and regions, giving them more possibilities to connect.

At CES 2020 in January, Hyundai showed the world its vision for future mobility by introducing the UAM concept model, 'S-A1', which is being developed based on four principles: safe, quiet, affordable, and human-centered solution.

The company's goal is also to take the lead in the UAM market. Hyundai Motor will make a collection of air vehicles that covers both passenger and cargo transportation sectors.

A hybrid-powered unmanned aircraft system (UAS) will be the first to take flight in 2026. In 2028, Hyundai will introduce an all-electric UAM model that is designed for city operations. The company plans to provide regional air transportation that links nearby cities in the 2030s.
