The fourth generation of the Toyota Supra was a legend that can be easily spotted on the streets because of its iconic wing. While we have already seen new Supras with massive wings, these rides still don’t evoke the aura of the Mk4 generation.

Finished in glossy blue with a number of aftermarket modifications, a 2020 Toyota Supra from Bahrain does make you remember the fourth generation of the legendary model from Japan. Owned by the EKanoo Racing/Kanoo Performance tuning shop, this version of the GR Supra is fitted with a carbon fiber front splitter, new carbon fiber fins on the sides of the rear bumper as well as carbon fiber side skirts.

But the most noticeable addition made to this great-looking Supra is the huge rear wing finished in the same color as its body. This massive rear wing is shaped similar to that of the Mk4 Supra, thus evoking the imposing presence of the iconic sports car. Now, that’s how we want the latest generation of the Japanese sports car to look! This further sets the 2020 Toyota Supra apart from the BMW Z4.

The massive wing is mounted to the trunk lid of the 2020 Supra so it doesn't interfere with the use of the trunk. Aside from these modifications, this blue 2020 Toyota Supra rides on a set of 20-inch wheels from Vossen.

While it seems that Kanoo Performance created this version of the Japanese sports car as a wise marketing ploy, the tuning house was indeed successful in attracting needed attention. In fact, the tuning shop posted an image on Instagram showing the Toyota Supra being tested on the dyno. Interestingly, the image also shows Tetsuya Tada, the chief engineer responsible for both the Toyota 86 and the 2020 Supra, sitting on the sidelines.

Tada had previously confirmed that more Supras are on the way, and with every release, the Japanese sports will become more powerful. The current Supra is powered by a 3.0-liter turbocharged inline six-cylinder engine that can deliver up to 335 hp of output and up to 365 lb.-ft. of torque. Power is delivered to the rear wheels via an eight-speed automatic transmission with racing-style paddle shifters.

As Toyota releases more powerful Supras, we can expect tuning shops and aftermarket companies to strut their wares especially made for the latest iteration of this exciting sports car.
