One man modded a Jaguar E Type, and it's bothering a lot of people.
For years now, Jaguar has been known to produce high-end cars. Perhaps, no other name in Jaguar's history has as much clout as the E Type. It was, and still is, praised for its looks and performance. It's an icon in the motor world. Pipey McGraw is among the people who own this beautiful ride, but his is no ordinary Jaguar E Type, according to Fast Car.

McGraw says that he did not mod his car for fame, but rather as a hobby. In a world filled with a lot of pain and misfortune, he decided to find something better to do with his time for a whole year and this was by altering the looks of his Jaguar E Type. His car is drawing a little bit of controversy as it is not everyone's cup of tea. He bought the shell—which was the easier part of McGraw's job— but finding the original parts proved to be a daunting task that he was not willing to do. So, the creative McGraw opted to go on a totally different direction by using bits and pieces from other cars such as the Mazda, Series 2 and 3 Roadster and Ford Escort MK2
Having built this beauty from the ground up, Pipey has no regrets about his handy work so far. This Jaguar E Type runs on a naturally aspirated Mazda 20B triple-rotor engine which is quite surprising being that the original runs on a V6 engine. He also went for an odd Irish green for the body paint maintaining the rusts in the car giving the ride an unfinished look. Still, he also slapped a racing number on it to give it an even sportier look.

McGraw also opted for wider fenders that were perfectly crafted to resemble a Porsche 930 rear. This is not the only weird mod to the car. His bonnet is open, yes open. He says that he was looking for something simple and what better way to have a simpler bonnet than not having a hood covering the engine.
Well, fans and members of the Jaguar club are not impressed by what McGraw has done so far, and some are even saying that he has disgraced the E Type. But as far as McGraw and his fans go, they are happy with his work. He says he will continue doing a little bit of tweaking here and there until he hits his goal for ultimate perfection. So, which side are you do you agree with — those who call this a mockery or do you support his work?
