Soon, a set of four very rare and very beautiful vehicles that were once part of race car driver Scott Tucker’s personal collection will be hitting the auction block. While the cars may be beautiful, the way in which they were procured isn’t, but if you can get past that, this auction is one for the books.

Shady Origin Story

The tragic ending to scam artist Scott Tucker’s reign as a payday loan shark is a double-edged sword. While Tucker has recently found his new home behind bars for his misdeeds, his impressive car collection is still waiting to find new owners. Luckily, the IRS is putting them up for auction soon to recoup some of the money funneled from Tucker’s scheme. So, if you don’t mind a being the second owner of a car that wasn’t bought using quite legal funds, this could be your chance to procure a new, decked out vehicle.

The cars going to auction consist of four supercars: 2 Ferraris and 2 Porches. The first two vehicles up are a 2011 Ferarri 599 Aperta and a track-only Ferarri 599XX. The Porsche lineup includes a 2011 Porsche GT2 RS and a 2005 Porsche Carrera GT. Each of these vehicles are incredibly rare and difficult to obtain, meaning that with Tucker’s jailing comes a new chance to obtain these beauties.

Catch Them At Auction

Though they may have initially been illegally obtained, these vehicles are on their way to leading a new, crime-free (hopefully) life with new owners soon. Tucker may not have had the greatest taste in legal business ideas, but he did have a pretty good eye for sporty supercars. If you’re looking to get more details on the vehicles, they will be going up for official auction via IRS in Austin, Texas on February 5th of this year.
