Jeep Gladiator has been a rugged off-roading pick-up that came back into the picture after a long break since 1988. Jeep hadn't provided us with a proper bed-equipped pick-up until 2020, with the revival of the Gladiator. Being based on the same platform as the ever-so-loved Jeep Wrangler, the Gladiator is quite a performer off the roads, but with a much useful bed attached to it.

But the variety it had put on the table was kind of becoming stale. So for 2021, Jeep has embraced that matter and has refreshed the Gladiator line-up with omission as well as the addition of new trim-levels to keep the spirits high. But what remains constant is the sheer number of trims on offer, with a total of 9 offerings that will tickle your off-roading appetite with ease.

With the reshuffling done for 2021, two new trims have joined the ranks - Willys and 80th Anniversary. Both these trims are pitched in to commemorate 80 years since the original Willys MB Jeep was launched to service into World War 2. The tricky part among all these trims is the exact same powertrains on offer. Talking of powertrains, Jeep has also added a new 3.0L Diesel V6 to the portfolio.

The 2021 Jeep Gladiator is offered in 9 well-specced trims and ranges from $33,565 - $51,765. Choosing one among these can become quite a task. And so, we simplify it down with notable highlights, for you to choose your perfect Gladiator.

Power comes from a tried and tested 3.6L Pentastar V6 motor capable of 285 hp and 260 lb-ft. 4WD system comes as standard even for the Sport trim and gets a 6-Speed manual as standard. This can be swapped with a more convenient 8-Speed Automatic as well. With the new 3.0L Turbo-Diesel V6 engine (260 hp / 442 lb-ft), things get even better.

This is quite a tricky question to ask when you have 9 vibrant trims to choose from. But if it's one that has to be picked then it will be the Overland trim. The reason is because of its balanced character between a decent off-roader and well-packed cabin features, all at a very decent price of $40,660. All the other trims have certain specific criteria and have a bit more to offer than a balanced setup.
