The Jeep Grand Cherokee Trackhawk is one of the most high performing SUVs out there, and it certainly makes for a good spectacle when it is roaring down the drag strip. Even more so if the car is extensively modified. Featured on the Drag Racing and Car Stuff YouTube Channel, is this epic set of drag races featuring a Trackhawk, aka H3LLHAWK, going against a Tesla Model 3 and a Dodge Charger 392 on nitrous.

A Modified And Powerful Trackhawk

This incredible Trackhawk has certainly had some modifications. It now has a 422 stroker under the hood that is courtesy of TNA Motorsports, as well has having nitrous. This is certainly one epic machine. The first race the Trackhawk takes part in is with the Tesla Model 3, so it's an interesting electric vs ICE comparison. As you might expect, the Trackhawk is initially left behind by the traction of the Tesla, but that soon changes. The Trackhawk leaves the Tesla in its wake and completes its run in 9.661 seconds, topping out at 139.72 mph. The Model 3 was some way back with an 11.708 second run and a speed of 112.80 mph.

Taking On A Dodge Charger

The Dodge Charger should in theory provide a better race, and the Charger certainly sounds like it is up for the challenge. The two cars roar into life as they warm up their tires before they shoot off down the drag strip. Nitrous is also on the Trackhawk for this race after it didn’t use it against the Tesla. The Charger gets going much faster than the Trackhawk suggesting it was, in fact, allowed to do so, before the Trackhawk chases after it to try to soar past.

Amazingly, the Trackhawk is able to reel in the Dodge Charger just before the 1/4 mile. The Trackhawk in the end posted a run time of 9.558 seconds and topped out at 141.83 mph. The Charger in fairness did not lag far behind, with a run time of 10.757 seconds. It was though quite a few miles per hour down on the Trackhawk, as its top speed was just 127.19, nearly 15 mph slower than the Jeep. This though was a much tougher fight for the Trackhawk than its run against the Tesla.
