Jeep has unveiled new special edition models for the 2020 Wrangler, including the Willys, Black & Tan, and Freedom Edition.

Jeep owners are a special breed. Special in the same sense that they need their Jeep Wrangler to be as special as they are. Is it narcissism or nonconformity? Egocentric or exceptional? Maverick or malcontent? Perhaps all of the above.

Whatever you call it, Fiat Chrysler loves catering to their customer’s many whims, and that involves producing many special edition Wranglers. The latest editions including the Willys, which harkens back to the original Willys Jeep; the Black & Tan, which harkens back to the days of African safaris; and the Freedom Edition, which harkens back to the days of American hegemony.

Starting with the Willys Edition, your two-or-four-door Wrangler gets 17-inch aluminum-alloy wheels, LED headlights, and a glossy black grille. It also gets a bunch of off-road goodies, including a limited-slip rear differential, Rubicon rock rails and shocks, heavy-duty brakes, and 32-inch Firestone mud-terrain tires.

The Willys Edition starts at $33,740 for the two-door and $37,240 for the four-door model.

Next, we have the Black & Tan Edition, which as the name suggests, gives the Wrangler a black and tan makeover. Available in any exterior color (not just black), the Black & Tan edition comes with a tan soft-top roof, a Wizard Black-painted instrument panel, and Heritage Tan cloth seats.
