Are you scared? How about now? Perhaps not be scared, but you will envy comedian/ventriloquist Jeff Dunham's collection of cars. The best part is that it isn't the size of the collection that's worth a wide-eyed response but the range of the cars, some of which are properly exotic.

Plus, there are muscle cars of past and present, along with a couple of iconic Hollywood superhero cars that Achmed's creator actually drives on the streets himself. There car many rip-offs of such Hollywood cars, but Dunham has one of the few three Batmobiles from Batman Returns and yes, he drives it.

Everyone can be a little extra sometimes. When we said the size of Dunham's car collection is not why you should be astounded, we certainly didn't mean it. But then, it's the fact that the likes of Ford GT, Plymouth Barracuda, and Dodge Viper ACR are the very regular ones in this collection.

Most of Dunham's cars are what you can only expect from an extremely passionate, gasoline-in-the-veins motoring enthusiast. Celebrity car collections are filled with Ferraris, Bugattis, and Lamborghinis but who has a 1971 Mercury Marquis Brougham in the garage? Jeff Dunham does. While there are plenty of cool machinery in Dunham's collection, here are some of which that stand out.

1934 Ford Firepower

If only the skull atop the supercharger could talk, it'd have stories of madness to tell. A rather rad hot rod, the Ford Firepower is custom-built. A lot of aspects of the car may not be appealing in isolation, including the skull.

But that is perhaps the point of a hot rod, to not make a point. Be wacky, be loud and be fast - the three things they're taught at hot rod school. In that case, the Firepower looks the part. It will have cost Dunham in excess of $100,000 to have this built. Guess it pays off?

Ultra-Violet Challenger (Dunham Edition)

An owner of a Challenger RT 440 Six-Pack and a Challenger Hellcat, Jeff Dunham seems to be a connoisseur of the Challenger. The third one in his collection was born out of this affinity he has for a good muscle car, which Dodge is well aware of.

They built a Challenger for Dunham's Mopar love - a special edition that uses a 426 crate engine that packs 500 horses, sending all that power to the rear wheels. You've got to admit the man has good tastes in cars.

Plymouth Superbird

A short-lived version of the Roadrunner with a distinctive design and a graphics package, the Plymouth Superbird burned a soft spot in the hearts of hot-rod fans. Its aerodynamics package commanded undivided attention back then and does today, with a tall glass wing at the rear.

Well, the 'aero' science which is very visible did not work very well because the industry's rudimentary knowledge of fluid dynamics and how to apply them to a racecar were unpolished at the time. It’s an icon nonetheless, and to top that, it is an extremely rare version of otherwise standard 70s Mopar.

Amphicar

The concept of a car that works on land and sea has not been perfected. Ask the likes of trios like Clarkson, Hammond, and May, who've given it more than one shot (and also the more qualified lot, of course).

The Quandt Group came up with this regular-looking car, but unlike other cars that tried to mix transportation modes, this one actually looks more like home in the water on a lazy Sunday afternoon. This Amphicar is actually such a good ride on the water that Jeff takes it out to Castaic occasionally, for some catch-and-release.

One of the many cars that prove Jeff has a peculiar taste in ultra-rare and unique cars, the Calico Surfer was designed exclusively for International Surfing magazine publisher Calvin Clark in the 1960s. It cost $22,000 back then. The price will have changed now and considering that it's unique and has been owned by famous people like the one that owns it, the price now is perhaps whatever anyone is willing to fish out for it.

These are only but a few of the unique or rare cars that Jeff owns. These also include a Ferret Scout which he'd have bought in preparation for the zombie apocalypse. For those not in the know, the Scout is a mini tank that should shield the occupants from light firearm attacks (and zombies).

There's also something called the Vox Mobile, also hailed as the world's fastest guitar (yes it looks like a guitar), powered by a sweet-sounding 427 Cobra engine. The list of unique cars is extended by a DeLorean time machine and the Batmobile from Batman Returns and a Lincoln Batmobile Futura. Envious much?
