The world of overlanding and off-roading in burly pickups and full-size trucks has exploded in recent years, though when it comes to serious backwoods fun, nothing beats a good ATV. Rugged, capable, and narrow enough to blast through the trees, these little 4x4 vehicles make for a perfect ranch tool or hunting hauler. And now, Kawasaki has unveiled the perfect 4x4 for cruising into the wild: the 2020 Brute Force 750.

Appearances are everything in the world of vehicular sales, where consumers are spoiled for choice. Kawasaki's new 4x4 leaves the factory with its upper half finished in Realtree APG-XTRA Camouflage courtesy of Jordan Outdoor Enterprises Ltd. The rest of its exterior is matte black, from the fender flares to the seat and wheels.

Under that camouflaged skin hides a serious beast ready to tackle any terrain with confidence. No 4x4 would be complete without four-wheel drive, and the Brute Force 750 utilizes a selectable 2WD/4WD system that includes a variable control front differential lock for the slipperiest of situations.

A four-stroke V-twin engine displaces 749 cubic centimeters and produces a maximum of 42.7 lb-ft of torque at 4,750 RPM thanks to direct fuel injection with dual 36mm throttle bodies. The transmission is a CVT unit.

The Brute Force 750 comes fully loaded with tech and mechanicals that make it even more trail-ready. At the rear are fully sealed, oil-bathed, multi-disc brakes with an independent parking brake, while the front uses dual hydraulic 200mm discs with two-piston calipers. Front and rear suspension use double-wishbone setups with 6.7 and 7.5 inches of travel, respectively.

Also included are a five-gallon fuel tank, power steering, electrical ignition, and an instrument cluster composed of a speedometer, odometer, dual trip meters, fuel gauge, engine temp, clock, hour meter, and 2WD/4WD icon, plus indicators for EPS, neutral, belt, and oil pressure.
