Kia made a splash today at the Chicago Auto Show 2022, showcasing its future electric vehicles lineup.

On display was the very futuristic-looking Kia EV9, a three-row SUV that could rival the GMC Hummer.

Since there's no internal combustion engine, the Korean automaker redesigned the front grille, from the previous Tiger Nose grille to a sleeker Digital Tiger Face, which features a star cloud pattern.

Though Kia has not offered much detail into the battery that will bring the EV9 to life, the three-row SUV is expected to offer around 300 miles of range. A single electric motor for the rear-wheel-drive version and dual electric motors for the all-wheel-drive drivetrains are also expected.

Meanwhile, CAS 2022 attendees also got a look at the official reveal of the 2023 Kia Sportage PHEV. This turbocharged crossover is equipped with 1.6 liter, four-cylinder engine that produces 177 horsepower.
