In the Swedish language, Regera means 'to reign' or 'to rule,' and the Regera model from Swedish supercar company, Koenigsegg, has been nothing short of an automotive royalty! The brainchild of company founder Christian Koenigsegg, the Regera was unveiled at the 2015 Geneva Motor Show as a plug-in hybrid grand touring sports car. The megacar was produced to serve as a luxury alternative to Koenigsegg’s conventional extreme, track-focused, road-going cars; the Agera RS, and later the Jesko.Nonetheless, the Regera has its unique extreme attributes as well, adopting several innovative automotive features, and commandeering a world acceleration record while at it. Undoubtedly, the Regera is another huge statement of supercar fabrication prowess by Koenigsegg, and its 80-car production run have all been spoken for, as expected. The Koenigsegg Regera’s greatness is apparent through its amazing attributes, hence, we’ve listed some here.
