A Lamborghini is not a car that you would associate with off-road. Unless it is the Urus, but that is the company’s SUV that has off-road capabilities. However, you would not expect the Huracan Super Trofeo Evo to be a car that you can take off-roading. Well, YouTuber Alex Choi has an incredible 1,200 hp version of this car, and in one of his latest YouTube videos, he does see what the car can do off-road as his is actually supposed to be an all-wheel drive example.

Drag Racing With A Model S Plaid

Before the off-road adventure, Choi takes the car up against his Tesla Model S Plaid to see which is the fastest. As you might expect from the EV, it gets its power down faster initially, but the Lamborghini comes back at it to snatch the victory. This is despite Choi snatching two gears by mistake and short shifting. But it shows the legs that an internal combustion engine car still has over an electric car.

They then try a rolling race from 40 mph with a honk to initiate the race, but the Tesla driver did not hear it, so the Aventador won again.

A Second Round Has The Same Outcome

A second rolling race from 40 mph with a honk to commence proceedings takes place. And this time, the driver of the Tesla hears the honk and puts his foot down. But again, as you might imagine, the Tesla loses out to the Lamborghini. Next, though, Choi decides to take his Huracan off-road and up a gravel path. Bear in mind that this is a low riding, rear-wheel drive only supercar. It is not designed for off-roading. And the results are of course quite predictable.

Getting Stuck Off-Road

The Huracan is then seen trying to get up this gravel path before the Tesla comes up behind it to see that it has got stuck on the side of the path. His friends exclaim that they were “not sure what the thought process was.” And yes, the video shows Lamborghini was, in fact, stuck. Choi then heads back down the patch before sending the Huracan back up the path. Of course, the Huracan can’t get the power down properly, so struggles up the path and gets covered in dirt. So, the morale of the story really is, don’t take your Huracan off-roading. It won’t end well.
