About the Lamborghini Sesto:

Via: Autocar

This car was designed and created for the sole purpose of creating an indescribable driving experience. It unleashes emotions that you did not know you even had. It was debuted in 2010, just in time for the Paris Motor Show.

Just like the 6th element of the Periodic Table, Carbon, this element describes the Lamborghini Sesto Elemento to a tee... it is lightweight. This car was an ode to the element, hence the name and the design. It flys around the track handles well and is amazing to look at.

How did they make this car so light? It is only 2202,42 pounds! Almost everything on this car is carbon fiber. The special plastic and carbon fiber composite covered with a thin layer of glossy paint with reflective micro-crystals incorporated. That is what makes this car so light on the track.

The exterior is designed to look sexy and exude power. The profile of this model is typical of Lamborghini. It is sharp and you can tell it is a Lambo from every angle.

The idea was to keep this car as light as possible so some of the usual luxuries such as an aircon and stereo are not included. The seats for this car is also different. You do not get the normal seats you are used to. You get foam padding that is directly adhered to the carbon fiber chassis.

About the episode that aired on TopGear:

Richard, Jeremy, and James told us during the TopGear.com Behind the Scenes of the Lambo, that this car is anything but scary. The three of them went on to discuss the specs of the car as well as the look and feel of it.

Once they had decided that this Lambo was in fact brilliant, they handed this monster of a car over to the man who is not afraid of anything... The Stig.

The Stig made it look so easy to drive this Lambo around the track. He is amazing to watch because we get to see a professional on the inside during this sexy, powerful car around the track.

This was an enjoyable episode to watch and it is an episode that you will find yourself watching every now and again to remind yourself that something so light and yet so fast and expensive really does exist!

Richard Hammon said:

"Instead you get all this exposed Carbon plastic composit, but what I love is the way they've done all this brutal simplicity and weight-saving in an Italian way. It's Beautiful."

What makes this supercar so special:

The Lamborghini Sesto Elemento is an astonishing car that anyone would love to get their hands on.

The first thing that makes this car so special is the weight. It is super light and all the carbon fiber and plastic components make this car still look stylish and yets helps make the car light enough to fly through the corners on a track.

The seats in this car or lack thereof is something that makes this car so memorable. It is a feature that not many other cars have which makes it almost one of a kind.

The cost of the car is not cheap either. You are looking at over 2 million dollars for this car! A car that has less but worth more. To sum it all up, The Lambo Sesto Elemento is not a car but an entire ideology.
