HotCars reported last week that F1 was planning a return to Las Vegas. Well, it is now official. F1 has put out a press release saying that there will be a Formula One race in Las Vegas beginning in 2023.
The Formula One race in Las Vegas will take place at night. The course will be on the streets of Las Vegas, and will include parts of The Strip itself. The last time there was a Formula One race in Las Vegas was in 1982.
F1 Joining Many Others Sports In Las Vegas
Las Vegas is the entertainment capital of the world, and sports are a major form of entertainment. Boxing has always been very successful in Las Vegas. In the last few years, the NFL, NHL, UFC, and NASCAR have done well in Sin City as well. So it is no surprise to see F1 make a return to Las Vegas.
The Las Vegas Grand Prix will take place in November 2023. This will be the third F1 race in the United States, joining the ones in Austin and Miami.
