Lexus Launches Lexus LC 500 Inspiration Series In Nori Green

The 2020 Lexus LC 500 Inspiration Series is currently on its way to the US. The new model, which will arrive in a distinctive Nori Green that is reminiscent of Aston Martin’s racing green, will also include a set of two-tone 21-inch wheels and tires.

The Lexus LC, a grand tourer based on the 2012 LF-LC Concept, was first unveiled at the 2016 North American International Auto Show in Detroit. The model replaced the SC, which was produced from 1991 to 2010. The LC is the first Lexus to use the GA-L platform, which is shared with the full-size LS 500 sedan. Interestingly, Lexus provided LC 500's for Marvel Studios' Black Panther for filming in South Korea during the Car Chase sequence.

The 2020 LC 500 features a stunning interior black-and-tan color scheme for the steering wheel, doors, center console, and dashboard as well as tan aniline leather 10-way power seats. The cabin also includes door panels in a darker shade of Alcantara faux suede. In addition, the LC 500 will introduce a custom, laser-cut sill plate that mirrors the geometric shapes found in the taillights.

Though the Inspiration Series has restyled the LC 500, the mechanics remain the same as those in the standard LC 500. The new model features a 471-horsepower 5.0-liter V8 engine and 10-speed automatic transmission, enabling it to go from 0 to 60 miles per hour in 4.4 seconds.

The 2020 Lexus LC 500 Inspiration Series will be limited to just 100 units in the US, yet Lexus also released an Inspiration Series for 2019, so it’s probable that a 2021 model will also arrive next year. Although Lexus, which is a luxury vehicle division of Toyota, hasn’t announced pricing for the 2020 Inspiration Series, it is expected to be close to $106,500.
