Lexus is preparing to give the people what they've always wanted: an amazing car with a cool bag.
The Inspiration Series, the newest addition to the LC's U.S range, is set to debut at the Chicago Auto Show next month. The car will be available for sale by April and will cost a pretty penny - $106,210 to be exact.
"Lexus is bringing some heat to the 2019 Chicago Auto Show with the first public appearance of the 2019 LC 500 Inspiration Edition," the company announced via their official website on Wednesday.
"The third vehicle in the Lexus Inspiration Series, this LC 500 is a limited-edition model that features a unique mix of colors and features that build on the coupe’s stunning design."
The LC 500 will be limited to just 100 units, so there won't be many people who will be able to boast owning one. It comes coated in Flare Yellow paint which sharpens the contrasting carbon fiber lower grille insert and the roof. The cars will roll on standard 21-inch rims.
Lexus's upcoming model features Alcantara yellow door inserts and semi-aniline leather with aesthetic stitching on the dashboard, glove box, and the central console. It also features an inscription on the carbon fiber door sills that outlines its limited production, reminding users that only 99 other persons are in their company worldwide.
An even classier perk, though, is the matching leather Lexus garment bag which can fold into a spacious travel bag. Who wouldn't want that?
The Inspiration Series uses the same 5.0-liter, naturally aspirated V8 engine found in every LC 500 coupe and can produce up to 471 horsepower along with 398 pound-feet of torque channeled to the rear wheels via a 10-speed automatic gearbox.
As there are no mechanical diferences, the Inspiration Series is identical to the normal model in terms of performance, meaning it can reach 60 mp/h in 4.4 seconds and can go up to 168 mp/h.
