It is usually hard to resist something that you have learned to love. In the case of Keith Federspiel of Denver, Colorado, this came true but in a unique way. Personally involved in vehicle customization, Federspiel can’t help but modify his own pickup truck – a 2014 Ram 2500 Laramie Limited – into something more menacing with help from a friend. Let's check out his very own inner "Demon Child."

What A Lift!

Federspiel purchased a new 2014 Ram 2500 Laramie Limited and quickly got to work upgrading it by installing a leveling kit and new wheels. His friend TJ Hill runs a company that showcases lifted trucks on a TV show called “The Lifted Life.” Hill wanted to use the then new Ram 2500 to showcase a lift on the show.

The duo quickly came into an agreement and soon found themselves tinkering with the 2014 Ram 2500 Laramie Limited. Chassis work included the installation of Kelderman air-ride 8-10-inch lift, Carli Suspension sway bar kit, adjustable track bar and Fox shocks. All parts were powder-coated with Prismatic Powders Transparent Copper.

Heavy Customization Work

The undercarriage (front and rear drive shafts) was also painted in House of Kolor Transparent Copper by Supreme Carstar Autobody, the custom company that Federspiel now owns. A number of parts and components were also finished in the same color to match the black glossy wrap of the Ram 2500.

The Ram 2500 also features more customized elements including a Fibertech Ram air hood, Royalty Core grille, AMI Demon hooks on Fusion front and rear bumpers, custom headlights, Hornblasters train horns as well as a Retrax power tonneau cover. AMP Research power steps are also installed.

Powered by a 6.7-liter Cummins turbodiesel engine with S&B cold-air intake and Magnaflow turbo back exhaust, this 2014 Ram 2500 Demon Child rides on 24x14-inch American Force Nightmare wheels with powder-coated faceplates, all shod with 40x15.50 R24 Nitto Trailgrappler rubbers.

Hard To Miss

The exterior theme of this 2014 Ram 2500 Demon Child extends into the cabin – black with House of Kolor Transparent Copper. Featuring custom black suede headliner, this modified truck comes with a Memphis Audio sound system with two 10-inch subwoofers and a Wetsounds soundbar in the bed. Now, this is a drive that would be hard to miss both on and off the road!
