When car YouTubers Casey Putsch and Ed Bolian talk about dream cars, for sure folks are going to listen, especially when it comes to their assessment of what's out there and what to watch for. So when it came to their visions of a dream car worth $100,000, the duo offered their take on the Ferrari 599, the Ferrari 430 Scuderia, the Lamborghini Gallardo, and the Audi R8. Just as valuable in this video released Thursday was what to watch out for should folks think they're able to get a supercar in that price range.

Top Choice Is The Ferrari 599

Bolian thinks the Ferrari 599 is the strongest choice, an option that Putsch is also in line with. Bolian adds that it's not as "athletic from a handling perspective," but is still a good bet for a hundred grand.

"These are Batmobile style cars," said Bolian. "It looks huge but it drives small."

"When I drove it, it didn't feel the way it looked," added Putsch. "It looks enormous... but when I drove it, it felt like a car I'd already been driving for 10 years."

Potential Consumers Should Be Financially Savvy

But for those who might be in the market for a supercar, the duo dispensed some healthy perspectives. Bolian pointed out that most of the cars mentioned in the video are relatively stable price-wise, meaning they're not going up or down in value in a big way.

As long as prospective owners continue to build up their credit while socking away cash, understanding how car financing works, and being aware of potential liabilities, ownership might take place sooner than expected.

Hang On To Your Dream For A While

Putsch also suggested that cars he marvels at these days weren't the same models he dreamed about as a kid. But going through adulthood, he went back to what he liked back in the day and found that those old cars were not only still attractive, but cheaper these days.

"It's like going new car shopping," he said. "Just with more bucks yeah absolutely and, yeah, you spend less money you get a cooler car. Yeah, have an awful lot of fun and it works when you try to start it."
