Ronnie from YouTube channel MotorTube heads to the PRI show, which he describes as being similar to SEMA but for racing. After checking out the show and seeing the wide array of custom equipment and cars that are there, he heads home to talk about his personal fleet of cars, including his C7 Chevrolet Corvette Z06 and his Ford GT500. He also mentions in the video that initially, he didn't intend to buy a Z06, but couldn't resist once he saw the modifications it had. Check out the video to learn more about his Z06 and learn what he paid for it once he decided to pull the trigger on the sports car.

PRI Show And A Yellow Z06

At the show, he checks out some equipment from Wilwood brakes and some carbon fiber wheels from Forgeline Wheels that catch his eye. The show has a lot of racing equipment and modifications you can check out, as well as some custom racing-ready cars including BMWs and a custom orange Chevy Camaro. The show has a lot to look at and is clearly a great place to check out if you need to make some racing friendly mods to your car.

Back at his house, he opens his garage and does a cold start of his yellow C7 Corvette Z06, which has an aggressive, satisfying sounding exhaust as it runs. He also starts up his Ford GT500 after giving it a jump, as the cold air has taken its toll on the fast Ford. With both running, its a symphony of aggressive V8 sports cars running before he gets into the story of obtaining the C7 and what it took to take him from an interested browser to an owner of the car.

He tells the story of getting his Corvette, initially finding the price was reasonable, but he appreciated the modifications the car had on it despite not being seriously in the market at the time. The initial starting price of the C7 was $85,000, more than he felt willing to pay, but went to look regardless. Once there, the cam, ProCharger, headers and exhaust modifications made him more seriously consider buying the car as he appreciates the right modifications on a vehicle.

Given that he searched the market and could not find another in similar conditions with the same level of modifications and low miles of just 13,000 for a comparable price, he more seriously took the Z06 into consideration. The C7 has over $45,000 in modifications as it sits, and he simply could not do it for less if he were to buy an unmodified Corvette, eventually agreeing to an $80,000 price for the car with an additional $4,800 paid in taxes. There will be more content on the Z06 in the future, and he may even upload content of his GT500 racing the Z06.
