The movies' baddest bad guy Danny Trejo got a visit from big time car fan Jay Leno for an episode of Jay Leno's Garage. Danny Trejo, whose IMDb.com credits top 400 acting entries, featured four of his custom rides including an Econoline pickup and a rare 1936 Dodge Touring Sedan. The pair took a cruise to one of Trejo's taco restaurants in Trejo's 1964 Buick Riviera. Danny Trejo is best known for action roles like Robert Rodriguez's Machete and as the menacing bad guy in countless films. Let's take a look at Machete's Garage.

Trejo introduced his 1936 Dodge Touring Sedan which he says is one of only six currently registered for the road. The Touring Sedan was Buick's luxury offering to compete with the LaSalles  and Chryslers of the time at a lower price point, though it was still a luxury car for "politicians and gangsters" as Trejo put it. Buick dubbed their 1936 models "Beauty Winners" featuring a rounded radiator, body color headlight trim, and a roomier interior. Trejo's is mostly stock with lowered suspension and a modern stereo.

1961 Ford Econoline Pickup

The first car in the line up that Leno and Trejo looked at was Trejo's 1961 Econoline pickup that was customized by the folks at Misfit Garage. Trejo had seen the team from the Fast & Loud spin off show on Discovery selling a car during Barrett Jackson and contacted them to ask what else they had. He ended up going home with the hot rodded orange and white custom pickup as a promotional delivery truck for Trejo Tacos.

1965 Buick Riviera

Trejo and Leno eventually took a ride in Trejo's 1965 Buick Riviera. The Riviera was originally designed for Cadillac in order for GM to compete with the new sedan version of the Thunderbird, but when Cadillac passed on the design it fell to Buick where it straddled the luxury car and muscle car line. The Riviera broke with other GM designs and featured a 'coke bottle' shape with a narrowed mid section and flared fenders. Trejo staked his preference for the 'low and slow' end of the S0-Cal custom car scene.
