The Mad Max film series and franchise is one of the most popular in the world. Set in a post-apocalyptic Australia, its become as famous for its cars as it has for its storylines and subplots. One of the most loved cars from the Mad Max films is the Falcon, thought by many to be one of the most badass cars in the films. That sentiment is echoed by renderer @abimelecdesign on Instagram. Taking the Dodge Challenger Hellcat, he has turned into a Mad Max Falcon for a new generation. But this is not simply a work of fantasy. This is based on a car someone is building.

These Renders Are Based On A Real-Life Build

The renderings are actually based on a real-life Hellcat Mad Max edition, which was done by Instagram user Robert Selby, or @evilldodge, and abimelecdesign wanted to help out and create some renders of the finished project. And it is certainly a badass revival of the Falcon, and as abimelecdesign himself says it is surprising how well the Challenger fits in with the design cues of the original Falcon. The renders show what the finished car will look like, with a couple of WIP shots of the real thing to compare it to.

Weiand Blower Is One Of The Standout Features

Some of those features include the blower. That is a real Weiand blower and it sits atop the Hellcat blower that does the boosting in the Hellcat engine. The paint scheme in the renders is what the car will ultimately look like as well, finished in the familiar black which on some of the renders gives off some pretty major purple tints to add a whole new dimension to this epic car.

Incredible Side Exhausts Mimic The Real Falcon

Just like the real thing, this render features those incredible side exhausts sticking out ahead of the rear-fenders, and there is a slight tweak to the front. The front splitter is that bit more aggressive to perhaps bring it a bit more in line with what looks right on a modern muscle car. As abimelecdesign himself says on his Instagram post, this truly is a one-of-a-kind build and a pretty awesome one at that. @evildodge is where you can follow the progress of this awesome build on Instagram and there is also a Facebook page for the build as well.
