Being one of the largest auction sites in the world, it is perhaps no surprise that eBay can feature some rather cool classic cars. Sometimes, you can find an absolute bargain listed there and in other cases, some that cost quite a lot as well. And this very much falls into the latter category. Listed on eBay now is this 1964 Chevrolet Chevelle, an LS1 restomod that's currently listed for $79,900, which isn't cheap at all.

Restomods and modified Chevelles are quite popular, but this is perhaps one of the most meticulous and extreme. The listing packs plenty of images of the car and plenty of information on the car for us to look at as well. The listing says that this is a very rare Malibu Chevelle 2-door wagon and that it has undergone an extensive frame-off restoration. Being a restomod means that it has undergone a lot of customization with the listing also stating that it has been done with plenty of attention to detail. It also mentions that this is a 1964 model with a 1965 front fascia as the owner preferred that look.

So then, what powers this Chevelle? It features what is called a true LS1, 5,7-liter V8 engine that has been fully rebuilt and also features BRP Hot Rods Headers and engine mounts as well. In terms of power output, the seller says that it produces 335.82 hp to the wheels, and a maximum torque of 345.35 Nm. This car seems like it's very pleasant to cruise around in, coming with a rebuilt 4L60 4-speed automatic transmission.

Filled With Mod-Cons

When it comes to mod-cons, this Chevelle certainly has a few. It has full power windows including power rear side-slide windows and rear tailgate window, plus a Vintage AC full custom interior too. The seller also says that this car is a pleasure to drive as well, and for the price it is currently on offer for, we can only hope that it does indeed live up to that hype. Finally, it also comes with a fully-rebuilt 12-bolt limited-slip differential to handle all of that glorious V8 power. Dakota Digital VHX analog gauges give this car a real classic feel despite the modern refurbishments.
