When it comes to performance tuning and exterior upgrades, one of the best names in the business is Manhart Performance. The German-based tuning company is perhaps most famous for its performance upgrades on BMW cars, but it is also famous for upgrades to other cars such as Porsches and Audis, and it has even tried its hand with Bentley and even a modest Tesla upgrade.

Now, the company has decided to have a look at the 2023 BMW M2 and make it even more desirable. The M2 is a popular part of the BMW M range, and an all-new version is coming in 2023. The new M2 is the M2 G87 and Manhart state that due to the rather negative reactions to its release, particularly regarding the styling, they have endeavored to be fearless and daring.

Manhart's latest creation is the MH2 560, their new interpretation of the baby M car of the range and as you might expect, it features plenty of Manhart performance upgrades and the customary styling enhancements to really make the M2 stand out from the crowd.

Manhart Goes In On The Performance Of The MH2 560

As you might expect, Manhart has made enhancing the performance of the M2 their biggest goal. Manhart has said that the MH2 560 does come with a performance upgrade, and offers up to 560 hp and 650 Nm of torque at the front of the coupe. This is thanks to the 3.0-liter twin-turbo S58 engine, enhanced over the standard version of the BMW engine. Not only that, but a stainless steel exhaust system with valve control and downpipes accompanies the engine upgrades, with or without catalytic converters.

Specifically, Manhart says that Manhart OPF-delete pipes with 200 cells of HJS catalytic converters are available for the new MH2 560. Plus, a choice of 4 x 100 mm carbon or ceramic-coated tailpipes is also available. The extra horsepower will certainly be a welcome boost for many who were wondering about buying the new M2, with the engine in the standard BMW offering making 453 hp and 406 lb-ft of torque. Manhart has been able to boost that figure by 107 hp which is hugely impressive, as well as offering more torque as well. But it isn’t just the power that is greatly enhanced on the Manhart M2.
