Porsche's recently released 992-generation 911 Turbo S has truly stepped up into supercar territory. The 992 Turbo S already reigns supreme when pitted against legit supercars with price tags multiple times higher and the likes of Magnus Walker even took one for a drive recently, coming away impressed with Porsche's perfect combination of power and performance. It would appear that the outgoing 991 generation is, to put it bluntly, a bunch of obsolete used sports cars now. But German tuner Manhart clearly thought they could do better and released the TR 850 package for the 991-generation Turbo S, which bumps output up to an absolutely ludicrous 850 horsepower.

From the factory, the post-facelift 991.2-generation 911 Turbo S produced 580 horsepower and up to 553 lb-ft of torque from its twin-turbocharged 3.8-liter flat-six in Overboost mode. Routing that power to all four wheels through Porsche's industry-leading PDK gearbox, the car was a screamer from the factory, capable of straight-line acceleration and aggressive cornering simultaneously. But Manhart's package takes things to a whole new level, with the promise of 850 horses to go along with a monstrous 803 lb-ft of twist.

That grunt combined with all-wheel-drive traction means that Manhart's TR 950 can launch to 60 miles per hour in under 2.4 seconds on the way to 124 miles per hour in only 4.9 seconds and a top speed of 205 miles per hour (the latter being the 992 gen's factory top speed rating, for the record). The setup features an entirely new exhaust system, including downpipes, stainless mufflers with valve control, and the choice between high-flow catalytic converters or no cats at all. Exhaust upgrades help reduce backpressure on the optimized variable turbine geometry turbos, plus upgraded intercoolers from CSF. An ECU tune is, of course, included, as is a clutch upgrade in the PDK gearbox and even a transmission tune.
