Luxury car collector Manny Khoshbin is a fan of supercars. Just look at his ultra-fast Hermes Edition Bugatti Chiron and his McLaren Speedtail hypercar for proof. In a video uploaded this week, Khoshbin declared why he isn't so big on Lamborghini. However, a Lambo dealer hoped to change his mind when he rolled out a new Aventador SVJ for the real estate tycoon's perusal.

Bad Optics With A Single Clutch

Khoshbin had once owned a couple of Lambos, but he got rid of them rather quickly. “My biggest problem with Lamborghini was a single clutch, like, you know, basically you look like you're having a good time in the car,” he said while he himself gets into a series of staccato movements better chronicled in trade publications like Adult Video News. “We're gonna see if that's improved.”

With those gestures out of the way, Khoshbin thought he should revisit what Lamborghini has to offer these days. He's totally taken by the Aventador's unusual rear wing mount, its 760 horsepower engine and its $900,000 price tag. He's already itching to take it for a test drive.

Even before he gets the SVJ in gear, Khoshbin digs that the supercar has all-wheel steering and a display of arrows demonstrating its aerodynamics, right down to the rear spoiler's performance. He also finds out the suspension has received an upgrade as well as the gearbox, which hits closer to home regarding Khoshbin's original lament.

Putting the Lambo into Corsa mode — which makes transmission dependent on the throttle — addresses Khoshbin's concerns. In other words, as long as he stays on the throttle, shifting is a lot more effortless and less jerky. “Big difference!” exclaims Khoshbin while shifting.

In a word, Khoshbin sounds impressed, especially with how the clutch, gearbox, and throttle coordinate for smoother shifting. And while the millionaire decided not to buy one, he still believes it's a great car. Sounds like he's finally come around to liking Lambos this time.
