The Mercedes-AMG GLS 63, though flaunting the performance-packed "AMG" badge is quite a plush SUV that has the least intimidation levels among Mercedes-AMG beasts. We are sure that many of the AMG GLS 63 owners would have loved their power-packed land-yachts to show some visual brawn.

And Mansory, the mad German tuning house famed for its outlandish creations, has come up with the perfect solution for them. Enter the Mansory-spec Mercedes-AMG GLS 63, an all-black gothic makeover of a bulky luxury SUV. Apart from the all-black exterior theme, the Mansory AMG GLS 63 also gets a more aggressive look, thanks to its carbon fiber body kit.

They also flaunt some sick and insanely large wheels, and we somehow feel that this AMG GLS 63 conversion is one of the sober Mansory creations, given their track record of sculpting some of the most over-the-top cars out there. Apart from the visual drama, Mansory has also given the AMG GLS 63 a vibrant and luxurious interior makeover too.

Going along with the aesthetic madness is a worthy set of performance upgrades. Mansory's version of the AMG GLS 63 is not everyone's cup of tea but for the bold few this Mercedes-Benz SUV is a clear-cut head-turner, especially for the exotic-looking grille guard!

Mansory bewitches the Mercedes-AMG GLS 63 with more power, luxury, and dark visual drama; even makes protective brush guards look exotic!

Mansory has managed to make the colossal GLS 63 look wicked and sinister. They never go wrong with the all-black theme and that is what this AMG mothership gets too. The front fascia is not more angry thanks to a new bigger front splitter, that gets complemented with an air-intake splitter and a new lip garlanded.

The grille also gets tweaked with new borders and flaunts a black Mansory logo. Mansory is also offering protective brush guards (in either black or chrome). Clearly, it is the black that looks dope, as seen in the images here.

The side profile lives up to Mansory madness with gigantic 24-inch fully-forged Diamond Black wheels (as seen in the images). Complementing those huge wheels are chunky fender extensions and a new front fender panel.

At the rear, Mansory offers two different diffuser designs and a quad-tipped exhaust design to keep up with the overall ruggedness and mean theme. The rear Merc logo also gets replaced with the rad Mansory one. It also gets a subtle roof spoiler which might go unnoticed by the untrained eyes. The rear also gets the rugged yet cool-looking brush guard.

All the custom body panels are made of carbon fiber and can be had in an exposed look for added visual drama.

Mansory has a trend of going all out with an interior makeover with a choice of eye-sore colors, at times. But thankfully, they have given the AMG GLS 63 a very tasteful interior makeover, as seen here. The interior flaunts a dual-tone layout and can be customized from one of the eccentric color options that Mansory has. In one image we see a black-and-beige combo that looks very soothing and unlike Mansory! But then we have the vibrant blue that has been a staple for Mansory in a few of their builds.

But it looks cool with the dual-tone layout and the fact that the tuner has not overdone it (is quite shocking!). Mansory logos are embroidered on the headrests. The headliner is also of the bright blue shade which gives this Merc-AMG's huge cabin a party vibe.

To keep up with its wild visual appeal, Mansory has given the Mercedes-AMG GLS 63 a performance upgrade as well. In fact, there are a few options to play with here. In stock form, the AMG GLS 63 churns out 603 hp and 627 lb-ft of torque from its 4.0-Liter twin-turbo mid-hybrid-assisted V8.

There are two "bumps" on offer. The first, called the P720 package, is an ECU software upgrade (more like a Stage 1) that bumps the figures to 710 hp and 737 lb-ft of torque with no change in the powertrain components.

The other, called the P850 package, is a wilder upgrade. In this guise, the sinister mothership churns out an impressive 838 hp and 811 lb-ft of torque. It is achieved by upgrading the twin turbos, as well as the exhaust system with performance down pipes and mufflers.

In stock, the Merc-AMG GLS 63 does 0-60 mph in 4.1 seconds and has a top speed of 186 mph. Apart from the engine and exhaust mods, Mansory also offers a suspension lowering kit that improves the stance and handling with a 1.2-inch drop.

There are a total of nine wheel designs on offer and the sizes range from 22- to 24-inches. In the interior, there are a plethora of customization options for the trimmings that include leather, wood, and carbon fiber as well. The floor mats also get an exquisite treatment with velour or leather carpeting. This is also carried over to the cargo carpets as well.
