A lot of the hype around hybrid supercars tends to surround the driving experience that they can provide, and most are eager to show the capabilities. When Maserati debuted their new MC20 hybrid supercar, it was to much speculation with it being their first electrically-assisted vehicle. While the car has already been awarded "Super Sports Car of the Year," many people still have no opinions since they have not been able to experience the car firsthand. However, Maserati is set on impressing the public with the MC20, and have now made it available to test in their driving program.

The MC20 Marks A Major Point For The Brand

The MC20 is the brand's first hybrid-assisted vehicle ever, and with the goal of making a high performance super sport vehicle, Maserati was aware that the car may face criticism from those who have not experienced it. Many criticisms of the brand come from those who have yet to test out their vehicles either at speed or on track, but Maserati's "Master Maserati" course has made it more available to people in general. The course includes access to the full range of models, now including the MC20.

The MC20 Costs A Pretty Penny To Drive On Track

With the MC20 being the newest and most expensive modern Maserati, in addition to being the most performance-oriented, the cost to use the vehicle on track is dramatically higher than the other experiences offered. The three options outside of the MC20 are "Engine Start" at $1,071, "GT" at $2,856, and "Sport" at $4,950. However, the "MC20 Master" program comes in at $12,000, but is only available to future owners of the MC20 and takes place over two days and trains drivers on how to use the car to it's fullest potential.

All Maserati Performance Models Can Be Tested As Well

Alongside the MC20 super sports car, Maserati's other vehicles are also available for these driving experiences. This includes the Trofeo models of the Ghibli, Quattroporte, and the Levante SUV and are intended to show the full performance of the brand.

For those not interested in participating, Maserati has also set aside programming for other events, such as use of thermal spas, biking, and even ride along events. The event's pricing outside of the MC20 is a good price point for those interested in buying the top-of-the-line Trofeo models as well.
