After introducing the Royale special series earlier this month, Maserati has finally unveiled one of the series’ V6-powered exclusive creations. The all-new Maserati Levante Royale Special Edition received its global debut at the Snow Polo World Cup 2020 at the world-renowned St. Moritz resort in the Alps.

More than 30 years ago, Maserati created the 1986 Quattroporte Royale, which featuring exclusive blue and green finishes, as well as an enhanced interior with leather seats and wood-extensive dashboard and door panels. Only 51 examples of the Quattroporte Royale were built.

To pay tribute to its rich history, Maserati has launched the new Royale special series, as available only on the Quattroporte, Levante and Ghibli models powered by V6 engines (a 3.0-liter V6 diesel mill with 275 hp and a 3.0-liter V6 gasoline unit delivering either 350 hp or 430 hp). Only 100 examples will be built, making the Royale special series an exclusive edition.

A Royal Treatment In And Out

Just like the original 1986 Maserati Royale model, the Quattroporte Royale, Levante Royale and Ghibli Royale are available in either Blu Royale (blue) or Verde Royale (green) finishes. The Levante Royale rides on 21-inch Anteo Staggered Anthracite wheels, while the Ghibli Royale and Quattroporte Royale sit on Titanium Anthracite rims. All Royale special editions feature silver brake calipers.

Inside, all new Maserati Royale models build on the GranLusso trim for their interiors. Customers may choose between the Zegna PELLETESSUTA Cuoio ultra-luxurious fabric and the Pieno Fiore leather in Black/Cuoio. Each Royale model comes with a distinctive “One of 100” plate.
