Maserati transformed Levante into a super-SUV with a top speed of 187.6 mph (302 km/h) by offering it in Trofeo version. Now, the same formula of performance, style, and flawless handling has been applied to Maserati’s sedans. The Trident is now offering new super-sedans in the persona of the Ghibli Trofeo and Quattroporte Trofeo. What makes these new Trofeo supercars extra special? Let's take a look.

V8-Powered Italian Super Sedans

The Trofeo versions of the Ghibli and Quattroporte are completely new monsters on the road, save for the upcoming Maserati supercar with over 600 hp. This is mostly thanks to a 3.8-liter V8 Twin Turbo engine delivering 580 hp of max output and 538 lb.-ft. (730 Nm) of peak torque. The engine – previously used on Quattroporte GTS – sends power to the rear wheels of the sedans via a ZF eight-speed automatic transmission. With this power on hand, both the Ghibli and Quattroporte Trofeo can go as fast as 202.5 mph (326 km/h). Both Trofeo sedans come with Launch Control as well as a Corsa button for a sportier driving style.

Stylish Trofeos Looks

Maserati's Ghibli and Quattroporte Trofeos are styled differently from their standard counterparts. While the Levante Trofeo was only available in white, Quattroporte and Ghibli Trofeos are exclusively finished in green and red at launch. All Trofeos are distinguished by the red details on the side air vents as well as the lightning bolt on the Trident badge found on the C-pillars.

In addition, All Trofeos feature a front grille with Black Piano twin vertical bars as well as carbon fiber elements on the front air duct trims and rear extractor. Furthermore, the rear light clusters now have a boomerang-like profile derived from the 3200 GT and the Alfieri concept car. Ghibli Trofeo features a restyled bonnet with two aggressive air ducts.

Inside, the Trofeos are marked by full-grain Pieno Fiore natural leather cabin with headrests bearing the Trofeo badge. Both Ghibli and Quattroporte Trofeos feature a 10.1-inch multimedia screen while the Levante has an 8.4-inch display. Ghibli and Quattroporte Trofeos ride on 21-inch aluminum Orione wheels, which 22-inch variant is available on Levante Trofeo.
