Most people who buy supercars don't ever push their toys even close to the limit of performance. Instead, they're more about the style, status points, and attention that the car confers on its owner. And it's almost a shame that high-performance vehicles like the Lamborghini Aventador typically will get driven to a from a Calabasas Whole Foods, not taken into the hills for a good flogging day in and day out. As if to prove this point, one Aventador owner in Germany clearly wasn't happy with his Italian masterpiece and had to commission a custom-built motorcycle to match in order to feel satisfied with his six-figure supercar.

Just Look At It

Apparently, German motorcycle shop Thunderbike was approached by the Lambo's owner, Stephan, who wanted a custom build to match his car. Over the course of 2016, Thunderbike built just that, with a Harley-Davidson Twin Cam 120R powerplant as the heart of the fully custom frame. With about 140 horsepower and a matching torque figure, the bike should be quite the screamer—and certainly looks the part, as well. The frame is Thunderbike's own Dragster design, which benefits from a single-side swingarm, custom air ride suspension, and a custom body including details like the handlebars and grips.

Whether or not Stephan will ever take his bike, which has been dubbed the "Outerlimit," to the actual limit is fairly dubious. The Thunderbike description of the job even says that the build was undertaken with one priority as "most important: Easy to use and easy to drive." Whether or not the designers at Lamborghini, who prioritize flat, angular forms, would approve of the Outerlimit's swoopy lines is another matter. But hopefully, Stephan can now rest happily knowing that the car and bike in his garage are unique, expensive, and unattainable to the masses.
