YouTube channel Larry ChenYouTube channel Larry Chen has just uploaded a detailed video showcasing a heavily modified V10 powered Toyota Supra. The car belongs to Formula Drift racer Ryan Tuerck and by his own words, is one of the most unique driving experiences he has ever had. Tuerck and his team redesigned the car from the ground up, making an already powerful streetcar into a tire-shredding machine. Besides the gorgeous matte-black exterior, the screaming V10 is truly an addictive sound.

Powerful Powerplant Is The Star Of The Show

The car is almost fully complete, with the last 10% requiring a couple of parts to arrive. Ryan Tuerck sold off a Formula Drift-winning car in order to purchase the Judd Power engine that powers this Supra. The engine is a Judd Power GV 4.0-Liter V10 Series 1 that is currently tuned to rev to 10,500 RPMs. According to Ryan Tuerck's dyno test on the car, the car makes over 630 HP at the wheels and features a six-speed sequential transmission. The exhaust collector is a five-into-one pipe that was 3D printed and the car features an X-pipe. The car also houses a second alternator to provide enough electricity for all the electronics in the cars.

The car itself boasts an all-carbon-fiber body from HGK, which minimizes weight without sacrificing strength. The fit and finish of the body are truly superb with the weave of the carbon fiber all going the same way. The car weighs in at 2550 lbs without the aero-kit and Tuerck inside the car. Interestingly, the oil pump, water pump and alternator all work best between 5,000 and 7,000 RPM. The engine needs preheating before ignition and has a really short rebuild interval at 2,000 miles, meaning that the engine has to be rebuilt after every 2,000 miles driven.

A lot of the parts on the undercarriage are custom CNC-ed and finished in anodized gold.

Tuerck mentions early on in the video that the car is not yet fully complete and that the final 10% is still to come.

Tuerck wants to bring this beast to Gridlife Midwest Festival at Gingerman Raceway so keep your eyes on this space for a possible public performance by this brutal beast. However, he admits that he needs more time in the car to get used to the throttle action and how high the car revs.

All in all, this Supra is truly one of a kind and might even have the best-sounding and loudest Supra exhaust ever, so keep your eyes peeled and eras open, you will definitely be seeing more of this car soon.
