The Ford is already an iconic brand of truck and stands as the truck manufacturer, production of its trucks going as far back as 1917. As for what it is exactly that makes the MegaRaptor 7 the toughest truck out there? Immediately we go to its size. The MegaRaptor 7 is built on an existing Ford F-250 Super Duty Crew Cab Lariat 4x4, which stands at an already impressive size, with a width of 105.9 inches. To push it that extra stage further, the MegaRaptor 7 sits an additional 9 inches wider than the F-250 – on both sides.
Not only in its size does it dominate, but it also stands on raised axles and sports Michelin XZL tires to tackle all kinds of terrain beneath it. This higher standing size of these tires handles the rougher terrain while they way they sit widely makes quick work of softer terrain. There is little risk of this truck falling and getting stuck as it keeps you moving no matter the conditions, even working in more Arctic conditions.
Its impressive size is not only for style. For as domineering as it looks, it holds just as much function. The basic is there and considered in the form of its sizable bed that comes equipped with a removable hard top. Not only does it come with this raw functionality, it also boasts a number of additional factory functions that any modern truck would benefit from, including, but not limited to, Power telescoping/tilt steering wheel and a Blind Spot Information System (BLIS) with a rearview camera and reverse sensors. Comfort, in addition to safety, also had a lot of thought put into the MegaRaptor 7. With its size alone, that wider size makes for a lower center of gravity to allow increased stability on those tricky terrains. The MegaRaptor 7 also sports a leather steering wheel with audio controls, heated and ventilated seats, and power-folding third row of seats, protected by a safety cage towards the back of the vehicle. With those power-folding seats, this allows for either a total of seven passengers or additional storage space in an already mammoth vehicle, perfect for someone who wants something larger, as opposed to a more compact truck.
