Mercedes-Benz has finally unveiled the long-awaited and dynamic new 2021 S-Class to the world, and taken a further step to redefine luxury in their own dramatic way. Just prior to the unveiling of its groundbreaking flagship sedan, the company enlisted the help of two eminently successful sports and business personalities to share their takes on the new sedan.

The first is Mercedes’ highest-paid employee, six (and very likely, soon to be seven)-time world Formula 1 champion Lewis Hamilton, who hardly needs an introduction. The second is maverick businessman and philanthropist Jensen Huang, the multi-billionaire co-founder and CEO of graphics-chip maker Nvidia, who has been instrumental in pushing the envelope for computer graphics since its inception in 1993.

Two Winners, One Car

Lewis Hamilton’s cool and in-control persona seems to fit the new S-Class’ hushed and luxurious dynamics quite well. He contends that after a day of hard work in a cramped, hot and overly digital environment, he winds down in the cocoon of luxury that is the "S”. As a racing driver, Hamilton appreciates the new car’s unprecedented levels of creature comfort backed up by prodigious power.

The British racing icon draws a parallel between the sedan’s driver-assistance features and those of his F1 car, as well as lauding its safety features out on the road. Coming from Hamilton, the runaway leader of the current Formula 1 season who is obliterating the competition in 2020, the words ring true and almost prophetic.

Jensen Huang’s role in the teaser video draws on his long-term love affair with the Three-Pointed Star. The businessman’s admission that he's owned many Mercedes products in the past and yet finds the new S-Class to be a new dimension in luxury, comfort, speed, safety, and convenience carries weight as he beckons the car to cater to his whims.

Jensen briefly swoons over the new 3D infotainment system and the advanced gesture control as he winds his way home among the vineyards of (presumably) Northern California. The video does nothing if not whet the appetite of any car enthusiast for the latest edition of this ultra-luxurious chariot from the brand with arguably the most relevant luxury sedan on the market.
