Making close to $400 million during his professional boxing career Mike Tyson wasn’t necessarily shy about making a big purchase or two. He admits that his spending habits during his 30s weren’t the greatest; “I didn’t think I’d make it through my thirties. My thirties were scary, weren’t they,” said Tyson in a press conference in Las Vegas according to boxingscene.com. Along with a slew of cars Tyson went off the rails purchasing a darn Tiger for his million dollar mansion. The boxer officially hit rock bottom as of the early 2000s declaring bankruptcy.

Floyd on the other hand continues to grow his disturbing net worth with some giant boxing fights. He isn’t afraid to spend either however. In this article we look at what Floyd spends most his money on and that’s cars. In fact both these fighters have made terrific purchases in the past. We’ll never see these two go one-on-one but at the very least we can see them duke it out in a battle of the garages. Prepare to see a back and forth battle with Tyson showing off some his prestigious rides from the past that includes Rolls Royce, Lamborghini and Ferrari models. Mayweather counters with a slew of Bugattis, Rolls Royce and Mercedes. Buckle up, this is going to be one heck of a clash!

Enjoy the article folks and like always be sure to share it with a friend. Without further ado here are 10 Tyson rides against 10 Mayweather rides; who has the better collection? Let’s begin!

20 Mike Tyson: Jaguar E-Type

via drivemag.com

Floyd might not be envious of the Jaguar models. In fact during a trip to London the undefeated boxer turned down a car from the company. He was none too pleased with the rental given to him and actually suggested that they change the ride. Ouch. Well, he would be foolish not to be at least impressed with Tyson’s former Jaguar ride, the E-Type.

This is one of the most famous models ever released by the company.

Even the likes of Enzo Ferrari called it one of the most stunning rides ever made – the vehicle dates back to the 1960s. It has also made its mark in pop culture appearing in the Mad Men television series along with the Austin Powers flick. Although he isn’t the biggest fan of Jags Floyd is still likely to tip his hat at this classic model.

19 Floyd Mayweather: Three Bugattis

via gettyimages.com

So Floyd isn’t a fan of Jaguar. However he does admire Bugatti. In fact the boxer had three different models at once. These cars didn’t come with a cheap price tag all valued in the millions. He bought one of those rides just prior to his mainstream bought against Conor McGregor. He might not have valued the trio of cars as much as we thought. According to Fan Sided Floyd put two of them up for sale at a near $6 million price tag combined. Seeing as though Tyson strayed away from Bugattis he likely isn’t putting in a bid for the rides.

18 Mike Tyson: Lamborghini LM002

via motorcove.com

Both Mayweather and Tyson steered away from SUV or truck types. They have a brief history with bigger vehicles. We’ll highlight those rides in this particular battle. We’ll let you be the judge on which ride might be better? Starting with Mike, this one is an absolute classic developed by Lamborghini back in the mid-80s.

What makes this car that much greater is the rareness of it, as only a little over 300 models were built.

It isn’t every day that Lambo produces an SUV/pickup style vehicle, therefore this ride has a legendary legacy. It’s another Tyson ride that made it into several pop culture films including Fast and Furious and Toys.

17 Floyd Mayweather: Mercedes-Benz G63 6X6

via autoseredin.de

Similar to Iron Mike, Floyd loves sport cars but doesn’t really purchase SUVs or in this case SUT types. However in this rare purchase Floyd went all-in. As a matter of fact at the time of its release this vehicle was considered the second most expensive off-road vehicle. Floyd dropping big bucks on a ride? No it can’t be!? The ride is rumoured to have cost Floyd $1 million. Take a look at the ride and it is one heck of a beast. It truly isn’t an everyday driver featuring six wheels. Floyd would purchase another Mercedes SUV type though the price point of that ride was a tame one at $100,000 (well for his standards). He made the purchase as a gift to his girlfriend at the time.

16 Mike Tyson: Ferrari F50 & Ferrari Testarossa

via rmsothebys.com

Tyson arguably lost the battle of SUV versus SUT however he’s bouncing back with his terrific history of Ferrari rides. Among his strongest Ferrari purchases is the stunning Ferrari F50. As a matter of fact Mike bought the ride as a package deal along with the 456 GT Spyder.

It seems as though Floyd wasn’t the first dude to buy packages of luxurious sport cars.

Tyson was doing it long before. According to the James Edition, Tyson was able to make a healthy chunk of money with his sale of the F50. Given the legacy and rarity of the car it was sold for a price tag of near $4 million. Among his other Ferrari rides, another popular vehicle type from the Italian car company, the Ferrari Testarossa.

15 Floyd Mayweather: LaFerrari Rossa Corsa & Coated White Pearl

via pinterest.com

This particular clash comes down to personal taste. The old school car lover might give the point to Tyson. However modern day car enthusiasts might give the nudge to Floyd and his recent purchase of not one but two LaFerrari models. According to Motor 1, Floyd bought the Rossa Corsa and a rare LaFerarri model featuring a coated white pearl paint theme. Both sport cars are truly stunning to look at. However some would say at that combined price why didn’t Floyd go for the LaFerrari Aperta? That would have put him over the top in this Ferrari clash.

14 Mike Tyson: Rolls Royce Stretched Limousine

via pinterest.com

Mayweather gets all the notoriety these days for his multiple Rolls Royce stretch limousines. However a lesser known fact, it was actually Tyson that started this trend back in the late 80s when he became a dominant fixture in the world of professional boxing. According to Car Keys, it was Don King that made this purchase as a gift to his top client. He bought Tyson a stretched out Rolls-Royce limo. The price tag wasn’t a cheap one at a near $200,000 value. As if that wasn’t enough Tyson was gifted with another car but we’ll have more on that ride a little later.

13 Floyd Mayweather: Rolls-Royce TMT Limousine

via gettyimages.com

Unlike Tyson who was basically gifted the ride Floyd had to pay the big bucks for this limousine. Unlike the Bentley Golf Cart he paid $20,000 to customize for his son this ride has a massive value estimated to be worth in the six figures according to TMZ. In all likelihood the limo might have a larger price tag than Tyson’s.

Floyd keeps the vehicle in the Vegas area along with a slew of other Rolls-Royce rides.

In just Rolls-Royce vehicles alone Floyd spent over $3 million! However Tyson is no slouch when it comes to Rolls-Royce purchases either...

12 Mike Tyson: Rolls-Royce Corniche

via hemmings.com

According to the New York Times this is another gift from Don King back in the 80s. The gift came a day after Tyson crashed his convertible Bentley that had a massive worth of near $200,000. Mike crashed the car in the Manhattan area. Despite the accident Tyson had a ride waiting for him the very next day. It was no rental Toyota but instead a beautiful Rolls-Royce Corniche valued at over $150,000. It isn’t a speedster by any means but man oh man is it ever a classic to look at. The convertible ride is one of  the many stunning Tyson rides from the past and one even Floyd might be impressed by.

11 Floyd Mayweather: Rolls Royce Phantom 2018 N180M

via caranddriver.com

Floyd showed off this new toy alongside a private jet. Yes, he loves to spend on a variety of rides both with wheels and wings. One of his great purchases came most recently when he bought a Rolls Royce Phantom back in February. According to The Sun this car has a value of near $400,000 making it one of his most expensive Rolls Royce rides. For what it’s worth the car was a gift for his 41st birthday. He got to celebrate the event alongside the likes of Mariah Carey Jamie Foxx and Wiz Khalifa. Despite all those big names it was the car that grabbed all the headlines.

10 Mike Tyson: Rolls-Royce Silver Spur

via pinterest.com

Tyson is likely huffing and puffing his chest out at some of these Floyd purchases. Iron Mike had a slew of Rolls Royce models before Mayweather bought his very first vehicle, a 1996 Mercedes.

Of course Tyson enjoyed the prime run of his professional career during the 80s and into the early 90s.

His first vehicle demand was ironically a Rolls Royce. However according to Car Keys his manager at the time asked the boxer to wait till he was 21 to buy the luxury ride. As one might expect Tyson made the purchase the day he turned 21 buying a blue Rolls-Royce Silver Spur in the summer. Buying a $120,000 car at the age of 21... quite remarkable.

9 Floyd Mayweather: Two Bentley Mulsannes

via motor1.com

Given the sentimental value included in some of Tyson’s Rolls-Royce rides we’ll give him the split decision, though that is arguable and up for debate. We now switch gears taking a unique look at a battle of the Bentleys. Floyd starts off strong with not one but two Bentley Mulsannes. The timing of the purchase was a little weird. According to Business Insider Floyd bought the white Mulsanne following a domestic abuse charge. He would later add to the collection with a black Mulsanne. Both cars combined have a value of over $500,000. The car is a dream luxury vehicle on both the exterior and interior.

8 Mike Tyson: Bentley Continental SC

via bentleygoldcoast.com

What’s better than owning two Bentley Mulsannes? Well some might say being the proud owner of a Bentley Continental SC. This was one of Tyson’s final massive purchases made in the 2000s. Turns out this was his most expensive car buy with a worth of over $500,000 according to Car Keys. That’s almost the same price as Floyd’s duo Bentley set. What makes this ride so unique is the fact that quantities were limited. Only 73 Continental SC rides were ever made and Tyson is one of the few owners. Without a doubt Floyd must be at least a little envious of this ride.

7 Floyd Mayweather: Porsche 911 Turbo Cabriolet

via carmart.com

Tyson landed a big blow with the Bentley Continental SC. Floyd needs a big response and some might say this is the car to do it with. Despite the fact that it is one of the cheaper car's in his garage the Porsche 911 Turbo Cabriolet is an underrated drive. According to Car and Driver the vehicle has a blazing acceleration along with exceptional handling.

The only knock on the car is that it is considered cheap in comparison to the other 911 models.

The car has a value of a little over $100,000 these days making it a modest Floyd Mayweather purchase from the past. He hasn’t bought another Porsche since however.

6 Mike Tyson: Porsche 964 Speedster

via topspeed.com

He started to underperform at this point. However it didn’t stop Tyson from purchasing more sport cars. One of his top buys during the early 90s is the Porsche 964 Speedster. A true classic with a memorable design. Porsche mass produced the ride building more than 60,000 units. The production lasted five years. According to Top Speed this is an underrated Porsche model; “With that signature, flat-six engine flooding the open cabin with noise, the driving experience of one these cars must be magical. The car was based on the new 964 Carrera 2 platform and boasted excellent driving dynamics. There were few options or creature comforts available on the 964 Speedster, it had three pedals, and the air-cooled, 3.6-liter engine is naturally aspirated and high-revving.”

5 Floyd Mayweather: McLaren 650S Spider

via stmed.net

Floyd goes off the board with this stunning handmade McLaren 650S. He needed a big response and this car is exactly what is needed. According to TMZ the undefeated boxer dropped a near $400,000 to get his hands on the rare ride. Fans of McLaren might be salivating just a little bit. The car is the total package. Handmade in England it features a smooth speed of 0 to 60 in under three seconds. Ironically Mayweather made this expensive purchase even before signing the fight papers against Manny Pacquiao. Love him or hate him, he has an impressive net worth to say the least.

4 Mike Tyson: Jaguar XJ220

via pinterest.com

Mayweather might be cringing here as we feature another Jaguar from back in the day. Again even if Mr. Mayweather doesn’t like the car brand he must appreciate the rareness of this ride given the fact that it was a 1 of 12 in the US according to Yelp. Mike bought the ride in the 2000s and according to Car Keys it was one of his quickest rides ever purchased. With a five speed manual transmission and 3.5 L twin-turbocharged engine this is one of the quickest Jaguar types ever made.

Back in 1991 it set a record for the quickest lap by a production car.

Given all the hype the car was one of the most expensive of its time with a worth of more than $500,000. Floyd, you’re on the clock!

3 Floyd Mayweather: Koenigsegg CCXR Trevita

via gettyimages.com

Although his Enzo and 599 GTB Fiorano Ferrari types are also worthy of a spot Mayweather needed something fast in order to rival Tyson’s unique Jaguar type. Not only does Floyd answer the bell but he might take the honors in this specific clash of the speed titans with his Koenigsegg CCXR Trevita. He bought the car for a near $5 million. He would end up selling the vehicle for half the price at an auction. Sean Szymkowski of Motor Authority discusses the embarrassment of riches attached to this ride; “It has 1,018 horsepower is delivered from a twin-supercharged 4.8-liter V-8. All 1,018 ponies are sent through Koenigsegg's own Xtrac Super Synchro 6-speed paddle-shift transmission, which was engineered specifically for the CCXR.

2 Mike Tyson: Bentley Continental T

via autoevolution.com

Tyson has definitely shown his worth in this classic matching up with Mayweather. Though in truth he just took a big blow with Mayweather’s top ride, the Koenigsegg CCXR Trevita. He closes off the clash with one of his classic and most prestigious rides, a Bentley Continental T. The car has quite the history. According to Car Keys this was a purchase made by Tyson following the highly controversial bout against Evander Holyfield, a fight that still lives in our memories to this day. Purchased in 1997, the car contains a 6.75 turbocharged engine along with 426 horsepower according to Car Keys.

1 Floyd Mayweather: TMT Private Jet

via twitter.com

Here’s what Tyson didn’t have. Multiple private jets. With a net worth of near $1 billion these days Floyd showed off that huge chunk of cash back in 2016 with his second private jet purchase. He recently showed off the ride via his Instagram account. In truth it’s no small jet and looks to be a darn commercial one given the size. It shouldn’t come as a shock that the custom made 12-seater has a mammoth price tag. According to Daily Mail similar models go for over $30 million! The plane has luxury written all over it. These days Floyd is taking the jet out every chance he gets.
