This is the battle between the queens of rap. While mentioning Missy Elliot and Nicki Minaj in the same sentence can elicit a flurry of reactions and heated debates about who’s better than who, petrol heads would prefer to keep the arguments around their car collections.
No lie, both these songstresses are filthy rich – having made a significant chunk of their money spitting bars and putting the ladies up in the rap pedestal. Both of them have grit and hunger for improving their performance and their art. And it’s this same excellence that we see trickle down to their car collections.

10 Lamborghini Aventador – Missy Elliot
According to CBS Chicago, Missy Elliot traded her 2005 Bentley Continental GT and added $30,000 in cash for the purchase.
However, the Lambo arrived amidst a lawsuit in which Missy Elliot claimed the dealership was slow and failed to deliver her $398,945 luxury ride. Lawyers, judges, and intelligent arguments aside, one of the most interesting bits about this White Lamborghini Aventador is that it cost Missy $14,000 more to get the white trim.
9 Pink Lamborghini Aventador – Nicki Minaj
Unlike Missy Elliot’s Lamborghini, this one had fewer fracas surrounding its purchase. The only ridiculous thing was how Nicki Minaj managed to spray the entire thing in pink. Well, turns out it provided a good line in her Rake It Out verse with Yo Gotti and managed to pull a lot of heads around Hollywood.
Compared to Missy Elliot’s White Lamborghini, Nicki Minaj had to put down a whopping $30,000 to get the car painted in pink. Add that to the car’s original price tag, and this ride cost her well over $400,000.
8 Spyker C8 Spyder – Missy Elliot
Well, this is a rather rare brand for a popular rapper. The Spyker C8 is a car produced by Spyker Cars, a Dutch automaker. Unbeknownst to many, this car has been in production since 2000. It is so rare, and rather visually unappealing for an exotic car, that it has been named on several occasions as the “quirkiest” exotic car ever built.
But for Missy Elliot, quirky means sexy. She owns a Spyker C8 Spyder that looks far from appealing. For $229,190, this is a sore loser.
7 1965 El Camino – Nicki Minaj
This is the only classic that has featured in either garage and it’s a good one indeed. Synonymous with Jesse Pinkman’s famous Breaking Bad break, the El Camino is a car worth a million (Netflix) tales. And as far as Nicki’s tales are concerned, she used this ride to film the video for her Feeling Myself song with music’s Walter White – Beyoncé.
Yes, the car did feature in a song that was a big hit. However, it was an even bigger hit on her Instagram, getting over 700,000 likes.
6 Mercedes-Benz G-Class – Missy Elliot
The Mercedes-Benz G-Class is undoubtedly the most exotic luxury SUV you can get in the market. And for Missy Elliot, having this in her garage is a sure testimony of her taste for finer things in life.
But it’s not her alone. Hip-hop artists have a liking for the $227,330 G-Wagon, not only for its luxury supremacy but also for its performance. The G-Wagon packs a 4.0 liter V8 that produces a respectable 416hp (BMW X6 M owners might laugh at this), with a whacky fuel economy rating of 11mpg. But who cares about fuel economy in a G-Wagon?
5 White Range Rover Sport – Nicki Minaj
On the other side of the pond, Nicki Minaj is a little bit splashier with her rides. While the price tags might not be so far apart, the statements are miles apart.
Spotted next to it in a photo she uploaded to Instagram, Nicki Minaj celebrated being named 6th in Forbes 10th Annual Cash Kings List. She was the only female rapper to feature. So, in a very celebratory mood, Nicki stunned her fans next to the Range Rover, while an “inferior” Toyota Camry tried to photobomb the session. This is much better than the Spyker Missy introduced us too.
4 2005 Bentley Continental GT – Missy Elliot
If you care less about fuel economy in a G-Wagon, you won’t even know fuel prices are steep in a Bentley. The 2005 Bentley Continental GT is one of Missy Elliot’s favorite Grand Tourers. Designed for road trips, business trips, and casual chatter while sipping on some Martini, the elephant-sized and weighted Bentley is no slouch on the road.
It packs a 48 Valve W-12 that produces 551 horsepower. Sure, it is a comfortable car to be in, but based on how quickly Missy Elliot was willing to let go of this car, it turns out she has other interests other than a refrigerated wine on a 5,320lbs machine.
3 Rolls-Royce Cullinan – Nicki Minaj
The new and so lovely (truthfully ugly) Rolls-Royce Cullinan is Nicki Minaj’s latest ride. Ugly is the preposition rather preferred by the Grand Tour triage after they briefly talked about this car in Season 3, Episode 9 of the show. And truth be told, it looks horrendous.
Far from that, Nicki Minaj decided to splash a whopping $450,000 on this ride, adding on top almost $70,000 from the base price of $380,000 to customize the car. The black car is graced with a red interior, which Nicki Minaj took sometime showing off to her fans via her Instagram.
2 Rolls-Royce Phantom – Missy Elliot
Was Bentley’s weight an issue for Missy Elliot? Well, it turns out not - (as was and is the case for the crazy engineers who keep giving it more power and weight every year). She went to the other side of the pond and got herself a Rolls-Royce Phantom.
Considered the “definition of automotive luxury”, Rolls-Royce is synonymous with leather, wood, metal, a lackluster exterior (especially for the phantom), and a price tag worth an island. Only for this one, it has four wheels to roll on.
1 Maybach 62S – Nicki Minaj
This is what we mean by a statement. Compared to the G-Wagon, the Maybach is a rich person’s cup of tea. While she doesn’t have Maybachs like white tees – like P-Diddy likes to put it, this particular Maybach 62S is a stunning car in Nicki Minaj’s collection.
And in a “very humble” gesture, Nicki Minaj stunned her fans and other celebrities when she arrived for the 2014 MTV Awards in this car. Remember, this car costs nearly $500,000, has a 6.0L 12-cylinder turbo engine, and can still do 0-60mph in an impressive 4.9 seconds despite having a ridiculous curb weight of 6,000 pounds.
