Launched in 2021, the Audi RS e-Tron GT is the first four-door all-electric grand tourer from the house of Ingolstadt. The RS e-Tron GT takes the legacy of popular models like RS7 Sportback and R8 in an all-electric form, thus making the enthusiasts believe that the all-electric future is not as unexciting as one would expect.

The car world is up for the gradual shift to electric mobility in the future. Almost all carmakers are jumping into the bandwagon and accelerating their game plans. This shift to electrics is crucial for performance car brands, who have always vouched for the emotion and aura of big and powerful V8 or V10 engines. Off late, performance car brands have started making this gradual shift on a positive note, which has resulted in the emergence of more wonderful all-electric cars like the RS e-Tron GT.

What’s more interesting is that the RS e-Tron GT has started hitting the customization circles. This sample from Poland is just the perfect example of how the all-electric car can have an appeal as irresistible as any other conventional sports car.

The Audi RS e-Tron GT showcased here belongs to Wojtsen Malag, who owns Turismo Wheels, an after-market alloy wheel brand from Poland having over a dozen specialists working in it and has worked on over 350 projects. This customized Audi e-Tron GT recently grabbed headlines through a video on the YouTube channel Auditography, which often showcases fully-customized and high-performance models from Audi.

The Audi RS e-Tron GT, owned by Malag, has a host of cosmetic tweaks, most of which are on the car's exterior. All these tweaks make the already sporty-looking RS e-Tron GT an absolute head-turner with its all-dark and low-slung visual appeal.

Let’s start with the aspect of this customized Audi RS e-Tron GT that catches the most public attention – its color scheme. The car is wrapped in a suede-looking charcoal satin black 3M wrap, because of which this already good-looking car has become a sure-shot looker.

Then comes the full-body kit sourced from Maxton Design, the list of which includes a sleeker-looking front spoiler, broader side skirts, and a unique rear diffuser. This body kit has a gloss black finish, which makes up for a perfect contrast to the satin black wrap job of the car.

The stock aero alloy wheels of the Audi RS e-Tron GT have been replaced here by an even tastier-looking 22-inch Turismo Inventa carbon wheels. These wheels come integrated with replaceable blades, using which the look of these alloy wheels is changeable as and when required without changing them altogether. In addition to these new alloy wheels and body kit, this Audi RS e-Tron GT gets a subtle suspension upgrade, with the car getting K&W springs and an air suspension setup.

All these changes mentioned above give this Audi RS e-Tron GT an extremely low-slung appearance, which makes it the most ground-hugging e-Tron GT we have ever seen.

With the RS e-Tron GT, Audi has proved that an electric car can offer the same thrills and pleasure of driving a full-fledged sports car without a loud and gas-sipping powertrain. The most elusive model in the e-Tron GT lineup, this RS-spec variant gets a dual-motor setup, with one motor each at the front and rear axles, which gives it an all-wheel-drive configuration. This dual-motor setup has a combined power output of 637 hp, while the maximum torque output is 612 lb-ft. The RS e-Tron GT uses a 2-speed transmission, which uses the first gear to pick up the launches and the second top gear for achieving higher efficiency.

With this dual-motor Quattro setup, the Audi RS e-Tron GT claims a super-quick 0-62mph timing of 2.85 seconds, while its top speed is electronically restricted at 158 mph. It also has a floor-mounted 93.5 kWh lithium-ion battery, which is compatible with 270 kW DC fast charging, with which the battery can get charged from 5-80 percent in 22.5 minutes. Audi claims a maximum range of 232 miles.

While we have seen a lot of modified and customized RS models from Audi in the past, this customized Audi RS e-Tron GT is a special car in many ways. Unlike owners of gas-powered vehicles, an EV owner has fewer options of performance gains to add to his car. With this limitation, the visual enhancements and tweaks to suspension, brakes, and wheels can do wonders to both performance and visual appeal of a vehicle. This RS e-Tron GT shows just what we are trying to say, and thus, it has given us a hint of how EVs for the future also have several customization options.
