9 1966 Pro Racer
The best thing about muscle cars is that they can be turned in pretty much anything and everything. From the street racer to the overly powered dragster, they have been converted into something fast and mesmerizing. The Chevy Nova did not fail from receiving the exact same treatment.
Using the 430 V8 as a base, its owners decided to get as many horsepower as possible out of this Nova. There is not much left on this 1966 Chevrolet Nova that is stock quite frankly. From the engine to the upholstery, the entire car was redesigned to become a drag-ready monster. Now producing 1,800hp, this is one of the coolest and fastest Novas out there.

The best part about this Nova is that it is equipped with a supercharged Lingenfelter LSA V8. Though this 1968 Nova is still expensive, it is cheaper than a lot of restomod projects and definitely is one of those somewhat affordable classic American cars that make anyone look cool.

Most restomodded classics tend to inherit similar styles. They are either turned into pro tourers or insane modern-looking classics. Though they are amazing and completely mouth-watering, they are missing the originality of this particular Nova.
This conservatively modified is far from being tame. Its tame brown paint job and wheels are probably the only things making this car very sober. Under its hood, a 6.0L LS2 V8 can be found. It is an absolute monster developing a large amount of power. This car is the definition of a sleeper for the uneducated eye.

When people think of muscle cars, they think of America and the drag strip. However, the muscle car culture is well and alive in the country down under. With amazing vehicles such as the Ford Falcon XB GT or Holden Maloo, it is quite normal that true muscle car fans from Australia took a liking to the Nova.
This drag-ready, blown Nova seems as if it was built somewhere in the US. Well, technically, the body and other parts were actually made in the US, but the rest of it is entirely made in Australia. The overly powerful engine produces 3,000hp. It is unclear whether this Nova is street legal. What is sure is that this is probably the coolest Nova in Australia.
3 1972 Classic
There have been multiple times when tuners went too far and completely lost the plot. It is quite common to stumble upon some overly modified muscle cars, and although beauty is in the eye of the beholder, there are times when everybody can agree that a given modified muscle car is absolutely horrible. The Nova is definitely not one of those classic American cars that will not impress anyone.

As the cloud of black smoke indicates, this Nova was equipped with a diesel engine. As the sticker indicates, it is powered by a huge Cummins turbodiesel. However, the greatest part about this awesome Nova is its dually running gear. The off-road Nova will for sure grab everybody's attention.
1 1974 Top Gun
The Nova, unlike the Corvette or the Camaro, can pull off some of the most outrageous styles out there. From the pro tourer to luxury-looking Novas, there hasn't been a single style that the Nova has not adopted. As a result, some people decided to apply a more rugged style to their Novas.
This particular Nova mixes a lot of different styles. The front end of the vehicle seems to have been inspired by some of the rat-styled vehicles out there. However, the rest of the car seems to have been inspired by a fighter jet that Tom Cruise would feel comfortable flying.
