Folks following YouTuber Khaled Alsalman are fully aware that the Dearborn, Michigan resident is a heavy-duty Mopar man. Ever since he launched his Khal_SRT YouTube channel a year ago, fans marvel at his prowess in modding and engine-swapping his arsenal of Dodge vehicles, from Chargers to Rams. Naturally, given the work going into them, there's no way Alsalman will allow a scratch or dent to diminish the value of his collection. And in a video released Monday, he showed how protective he is of his vehicles when he used his trusty Durango workhorse to tow his remodded Chrysler 300 on a flatbed.

Chrysler 300 Uses A Hellcat Motor

Alsalman's Chrysler 300, which he affectionately calls the Hellephant, is a special build to him. When he learned Chrysler balked at building a Chrysler 300 that didn't have an engine capable of generating 700 hp, Alsalman decided to build his own. It took months of planning and administering elbow grease to finally complete his project. In fact, he exceeded that threshold by swapping in a Hellcat Redeye engine that could kick out 800 hp.

Once he completed the Hellephant build, he celebrated his achievement the only way he knew how: perform a ton of burnouts and donuts in the parking lot outside. Fun? For sure! But also expensive, when Alsalman realized that those stunts would wear out tires faster than Madonna going through boyfriends.

Durango Trailer Battery Needs Charging

Not surprisingly, Alsalman is fastidious over how he was going to transport his vehicle onto the trailer pulled by his Durango. He's not only making sure the trailer battery is fully charged, but he's also torqued the flatbed's wheels, checked the tire pressure, and double-checked his inventory of ratchets and straps.

Concerned that the battery hasn't fully charged yet, Alsalman gets his trusty jump box out of the Durango and attaches the cable ends to the battery posts. That allows him to lower the trailer enough to drive his prized Hellephant onto the platform. But it's a slow process that includes removing the trailer's side fenders to accommodate the width of the Chrysler.

It took a while, but Alsalman's happy to get the Chrysler finally loaded.

"This is like a whole ass workout I feel bad we got to do this a couple times a day," he said.

But if your destination point involves taking that Chrysler 300 to the limit, the effort just might be worth it.
