From the famous Venom F5 production that hit the world with excitement, shock and surprise, under its belt also, are other cars that have been tuned. The end result has always been pleasing. In short, you can never go wrong with Hennessey.

The various types of cars that Hennessey has dealt with include muscle cars, SUVs, Trucks, supercars and sports cars. Talk of high performance, top-speeds, powerful upgrades and so much more. But all these come at a price – a very high price. Some of these tuned up puppies go up to $1.6 Million.

10 2011 Hennessey Venom GT

Hennessey describes this as the car he always wanted to build for himself. He notes that a powerful American 6.2L/ supercharged LS9 V8 engine that gives 725 horsepower and a massive power-to-weight ratio are some of the major hacks for the perfect functionality of this supercar. The 1,220 kilograms’ marque uses a Ricardo 6-speed manual gearbox.

They incorporated all the technology and used advanced materials to come with this legal Hennessey Venom GT. In the interior, the two-seater car is fitted with carbon fiber bucket leather seats. Bill Thomas in VenomGT describes this car among the ‘best performance cars’ and one of the ‘fastest cars ever’. It clocks a top speed of 270.49 mph and goes for a staggering price of $750,000!

9 Hennessey McLaren MP4-12C HPE700

This supercar has its knowledge from Formula One. Thus, it is no brainer that this is one of the coolest and best-performing cars around. Enter Hennessey, and this car becomes cooler and more like a Hennessey Venom GT on steroids. Hennessey tuned this stock McLaren to what he calls the Hennessey HPE700. The car’s joules horse is upgraded to an engine horsepower of 704. The particular engine fitted is a 3.8L/V8 and that takes 2.8 seconds to have the car at 60mph. There are upgrades in it from intercoolers, exhaust systems, and air filters to make its functionality hit top notch. Of course, the Hennessey badges would not lack in this amazing upgrade. R&T states that the upgrade package alone comes at $19,200 and the base price of the car is $239,400. Do the math!

8 2013 Ferrari 458 Spider Hennessey HPE700 Twin Turbo

Hennessey also had his hands on an Italian marque. That had to be expected anyway. But what makes this $640,000 car so exquisite? Hennessey quotes that the car will produce ‘a sound and driving experience that few roads can offer’. The upgrade gives the posh car 738 horsepower as opposed to the initial 562. The acceleration rates improve from the usual 0-60 mph in 3.4 seconds down to an impressive 2.8 seconds. On the interior, upgrades have been complimented with customized carbon-fiber covers. Other important features fitted are the coolers, dual electric fans, and other amazing technologies. It uses a 4.5L/V8 engine and clocks a top speed of 205 mph.

7 2013 Hennessey Venom GT Spyder

Here’s to another Hennessey tuned Venom - this time, the 2013 Venom GT Spyder. Following the 2011 Venom GT success, it is no brainer that they would get back to another Venom. For starters, this car comes at a price of $1.1 Million. The marque uses a twin-turbo 6.2L/V8 engine that produces a thunderous 1,200 horsepower. With a top speed of 265.7 mph, this is surely the fastest legal convertible car produced.

The car uses a Ricardo 6-speed gearbox and has its acceleration at 0-60 mph in 2.5 seconds. Better still, the two-seater car has enough modifications fitted to house all this speed and power. Wow!

6 2016 Hennessey Venom GT Spyder

Yet another Hennessey Venom GT makes the list - and with more improved features. Hennessey is quoted saying ‘being the fastest matters’. True to that, this exotic car clocks a top speed of 280+ according to VenomGT. It is boasted for its high performance and some of its specifications include an acceleration speed of 0-60 mph in 2.4 seconds. The exciting 1,244 kg car gives unique power to weight ratio which helps it sustain the speeds. It uses a 7.0L/ twin turbo V8 engine that gives an impressive 1,451 horsepower. This just got to another level when it gets to cars and readily justifies the price tag of $1 Million. Surely not for the weak in the wallet.

5 Hennessey Velociraptor 6x6

This is a beast, no doubt about that. Anyway, the craft behind this beast is enormous and simply incredible. For the price, have a fat wallet with $349,000 then visit the Hennessey Performance Engineering company. The four-door marque has a third added axle, fog lights fitted, 20” alloy wheels and a Fox manufactured adjustable suspension fitted.

The car has various upgrades like special bumpers fitted, upgraded twin-turbocharged engine, exhaust pipes modifications and intercoolers making it look so exotic. This beast is all about power and performance, from the 3.5L/V6 EcoBoost engine that provides 600+ horsepower to the acceleration speed of 0-60 in 4.9 seconds.

4 Hennessey Venom F5

For $1.6 Million, you are getting one of the 24 Venom F5 cars by Hennessey. That’s as much as it gets. Yes, $1.6 Million. Judging from the price, this car is all about uniqueness, design, quality, speed, class – all top notch. To start with, this car clocks a top speed of 301 mph, making it easily the fastest car in the world. That was the goal of the very production. Justified the price yet? No? The hypercar uses a twin-turbo V8 engine that pounds a thunderous 1,600 horsepower! The transmission is from a 7-speed single clutch paddle system and it has an acceleration speed of 0-180 mph in less than 10 seconds. Impressed yet? Yes, of course.

3 Hennessey Goliath 6x6

Yet another beast in Hennessey collection. As the Velociraptor success built up, it was fair enough that another 6-wheel mode would come up. Hennessey did not disappoint. In his speech, he says that the beast can take its owners to - Rodeo drive or the sand dunes of the Sahara Desert. So in case you questioned the performance, you have your answer right there.

The marque’s original 6.2L/V8 engine is customized with the HPE700 2.9L supercharged system that helps produce 705 horsepower. A number of upgrades have been made which include 20-inch alloy wheels, Rollbar, LED lights, bumpers, and a 3-year warranty. All this bundled in $375,000, with the production limited to 24 units.

2 Hennessey Exorcist Chevrolet Camaro ZL1

To start with, this is a rare and exclusive car as put in Hennessey. It is a limited edition with its production narrowed to 100. With the $55,000 worth upgrades done on this auto to the base price of $63,435, do your math if you want to be among the 100 owners. The car has power and performance all bundled into one. This marque uses a 6.2L/V8 engine that produces an impressive 1,000 horsepower. With it also is an acceleration speed of 0-60 mph in 3.0 seconds giving a top speed of 217 mph! So what makes the upgrade cost that high? Well considering the supercharger system, intercoolers, Hennessey badging, warranty and a couple of other premium stuff, the price gets justified. And just as a proper side note – James May drives it in the Grand Tour Season 3.

The $89,950 worth supercar, has all that is defined as a class. A quick specification of this car is that it uses a 5.0L/V8 engine that comes with 808 raw horsepower.
