There are plenty of tuners in the world. Some of them, such as Hennessey Performance, Roush, or Saleen have left a serious imprint in the world of customized cars. Lingenfelter may not be as known by the public as other prominent tuners, but the east coast-based professional tuner has created some of the most powerful Camaros out there.

Understanding that this Corvette was among the best Corvettes ever made, they took it upon themselves to turn this beast into an absolute demon. Equipped with a supercharged 427 LS7 engine cranking out 750hp, this Corvette is certainly not to be messed with.

9 Pontiac GTO

The latest Pontiac GTOs were some of the most disappointing muscle cars ever made. They were bland and simply could not rival the average Mustangs and Camaros of the same era. There are several reasons why no one bought the 2006 Pontiac GTO.

Lingenfelter did notice the potential of the car and created a $20,000 package for the GTO. The 427 CID package takes the sluggish GTO to 530hp. It is astonishing given what the poor output of the stock GTO is. Though only die-hard GTO fans may spend some time lurking at this Lingenfelter creation, it is safe to admit that it may be one of the few 2006 GTOs car fans would be willing to drive.

The first editions of the Camaros are simply beautiful. There is no other way to put it. Despite their old age, they look sexier and sportier than ever. Some of the special editions Camaros are the best gems on wheels one could ask for. Even if newer Camaros are awesome, giving them an old school look can have a cool effect.

This retro-kit Camaro is a peculiar yet crazy-looking car. The best part about this 1969-looking Camaro is the possibility to also add the LPE800 package to it. That is a 1969-styled Camaro RS with an engine that cranks out 800hp. Lingenfelter knows what customers want.

Over the last two decades, pickup trucks have gained in popularity among several demographics. However, domestic carmakers had to revamp some of their smaller trucks and make them more attractive to the public.

The Colorado ZR2, originally equipped with a 3.2L V6 producing 308hp, is a serious contender to the Toyota Tacoma TRD and Ford Ranger Raptor. Realizing the need for a juiced-up Colorado, Lingenfelter came up with a package that helps the Colorado produce 750hp.

This Corvette C8 is a tricky one. It is well-known that its ECU is extremely hard to crack. As a result, no one knows whether Lingenfelter has already created a package for the C8. Though this vehicle was showcased at Sema, it still has not inherited the right components that would allow the tuner to develop 1300hp and more.

4 Cadillac CTS-V

It is quite rare to see Cadillacs being modified to extreme levels. The luxury American cars are just not the go-to cars when looking for a new project. However, Cadillac understood that and starting making decently powered cars without sacrificing their luxurious aspect.

The CTS-V is an already powerful car with a 6.2L V8 that produces 640hp. It is safe to say the CTS-V is rivaling the BMW M-Series and Audi S-Series. For the American tuner, 640hp was great, but 1000hp was better. Thanks to Lingenfelter, it is possible to get a 7-second sedan.

3 Camaro Trans Am

Via motortrend.com

Before Pontiac was closed down, the company released some of the best and worst vehicles one could ever think of. Following the late 1980s, the company went on a downward spiral and could never really bounce back. Despite having rocked the world of muscle cars with cars such as the Firebird Trans Am and GTO, Pontiac was no longer one of the greats.

Lingenfelter may have been the only tuner really experiencing a bad case of nostalgia. The tuner developed a body kit that would transform any Camaros into a retro-looking Trans Am. Coupled with the engine packages offered by the firm, it is possible to drive around in a tailor-made Cam-Am that will rock your socks off.

2 Corvette Z06

Via vettetv.com

When the C7 Z06 first came out, it really shook up the muscle car industry that was at the time dominated by Ford's 5.0L Mustang. Its extremely sporty look and high performance took the breath away of car fans worldwide. The car became so popular that every respectable tuner developed a performance package for it.

Via YouTube

It is quite normal that a muscle car equipped with a 6.2L V8 that develops 650hp grabs everybody's attention. Lingenfelter decided to create packages that could help the Z06 develop 800hp. Though that sounds like a very conservative number given the Corvette's capabilities, it is plenty of horsepower to destroy a modified Mustang on the quarter-mile.

1 Silverado Reaper

Via autoevolution.com

The Chevrolet Silverado is a great truck. There are tons of reasons why Silverados are actually better than Ford F-Series trucks. The truck is far more stylish and looks absolutely insane when it is nicely modified. Over the years, the Silverado has been gaining in popularity thanks to its reliable engine and resale value.

Nicknamed "The Reaper", the mean-looking Lingenfelter Silverado is far from being a lifted princess with oversized tires. With a power output of 550hp, the Reaper was a serious contender to the Ford F-150 Raptor a couple of years ago. With changing market trends, Lingenfelter is more likely to focus on smaller trucks such as the Colorado ZR2 and Ford Ranger.
