As fears of a global coronavirus pandemic ground the automotive industry at large to a halt earlier this year, gearheads found themselves facing months of social distancing with wide-open roads beckoning from afar. The result has been a ton of speeding tickets, plus some established events like the Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance getting canceled, though many car-related companies switched to online formats quite quickly. Museums such as the Petersen even took over events like Monterey Car Week via streaming YouTube coverage, which perhaps has helped inspire the Mullin Automotive Museum of Oxnard, California to invite fans of historically significant classic cars on an in-depth tour of the collection with a YouTube series of Docent Tour videos starting October 2, 2020.

The video series will be hosted by Mullin docent Rick Eberst in approximately 20-minute segments, each focusing on an especially significant piece within the Mullin Automotive Museum's collection. The first episode, airing at noon Pacific Time on Friday, Oct 2, will feature a 1911 Hispano-Suiza Type 45CR King Alfonso XIII.
