Attention sports (touring) fans! MV Agusta has revealed the updated 2021 Turismo Veloce and the Italian mark has outdone themselves again, as this sleek sports tourer is absolutely stunning. With curves crafted in the wind tunnel and styling that screams European elegance, the Turismo Veloce displays its artful design even when positioned on its side stand. And once on the road, the innovative tech enables the rider to navigate with ease as they shred the pavement for mile after mile.

The Bold And Beautiful Design Of The Turismo Veloce

MV Agusta has always pushed the limits of motorcycle design and the 2021 Turismo Veloce continues that tradition. With details that show the attention applied to every aspect of the bike, the Turismo Veloce displays the company's elevated engineering approach. The single-sided swingarm and tri-port exhaust are as eye catching as any design elements in the industry. But the flashy features of this bike also serve practical ends.

The bodywork has been shaped further to improve aerodynamics, especially around the rider. The seat has also been lowered and the padding thickened to allow for a more comfortable ride. Even the windshield was considered, as it has been heightened to allow for better airflow around the rider's helmet.

And while the Turismo Veloce possesses plenty of show, it's also got lots of go. The 798cc three-cylinder engine produces 110 hp at 10,150 rpm to go with 59 lb-ft of torque at 7,100 rpm. That peppy power plant is able to rocket the 439-lb Turismo Veloce to a top speed of 143 mph.

To keep the front wheel on the ground when launching off the light, the bike also comes equipped with front lift control. The rider can bang through the gears without the use of a clutch, thanks to the standard quick shifter. And the Brembo brakes front and rear will enable the rider to scrub speed in a hurry.

As a means proving what a capable platform the Turismo Veloce truly is, MV Agusta has arranged what it hopes will be a record-setting ride on the longest day of the year (June 21, 2021). Moto-journalist Valerio Boni has planned a route through Europe in which he aims to ride across 11 countries in 24 hours.

While on his journey, Boni will benefit from the bike's integration with the MV Ride App, which will allow him to plot a course on his phone that can then be loaded to the 5.5" TFT display via a Bluetooth connection. And should things go south and the bike gets stolen, MV Agusta has fitted these models with a satellite-aided theft control system that will locate the bike via the app.

As far as record-setting rides go, there may be few as enticing as the Turismo Veloce. MV Agusta has once again designed a bike that beckons riders with its beauty and dares them to head off toward the sunset. Valerio Boni aims to do just that and by choosing a Turismo Veloce as is mount, he is certainly the envy of the motorcycle community.
