The Toyota Hilux is one of the most popular trucks from the 1980s. Some pickup enthusiasts turn this popular truck into a Hilux Motorhome, or even adapt it into a Marty McFly replica truck from the Back To The Future movie series.

So what would any normal sane person do after taking a Toyota Hilux and testing it to the point of total destruction?

Well, Firstly, a normal sane person would not do this, but then again when it comes to WhistlinDiesel's YouTube channel perhaps sane is not the word we might've used to describe. For our entertainment, the Whistlin crew is always destroying or blowing something up in the most extravagant, American way possible, And we for one love it.

Back To The Question

In a different phrasing then, what would WhistlinDiesel do after rigorously testing the Hilux to the point of no return? Well, the answer to the question no one asked is that they would buy 4 more. Finding every last one in the United States and buying them all and hiding them in his secret WhistlinDiesel lair. Our video begins with a comedy sketch about Squated truck owners versus Hilux owners. His goal is to get the message across that he thinks every single Hilux owner is a complete bad-ass. We have no reason to believe otherwise as Marty Mcfly had a Hilux and who's more bad-ass than him?

At 3:42 in the video, we meet the self-proclaimed largest Hilux fan ever. Plinkster22's face lights up when anything Hilux is in the conversation. When our host finally removes the car covers, Plinkster's face immediately changes from amazement to horror as he realizes who these belong to. "You won't do what I think you're going to do with these are you?" he asks. Of course, in the typical Whistlin way, seconds later he is destroying a CD changer he found in one of the vehicles. All four of the trucks are very similar with only slight differences. The first is a metallic gray which is our host's daily driver. The next is orange and in pretty horrible aesthetic shape, and the last two are identical burgundy paint with decals and off-roading equipment, such as a snorkel, to distinguish them apart.

The Daily

One thing that we can be sure of is that when WhistlinDeisel says a truck is tough that it is very tough. As crazy and absurd as his testing is, at the end of the day, if a truck survives him it is a definitive feat of engineering. So, to say that a Hilux is his daily driver is an unwritten (until now) statement of the Hilux's reliability. Our host even goes as far as saying he has not been easy on the truck for at least 6 months and has done things like dumping the clutch from fourth gear to first. We hope that he will not destroy all of these but we never truly know when it comes to WhistlinDiesel. He's even said in this video "wouldn't it be cool to send one of these into orbit?"
