Kyle Larson claimed victory at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway this afternoon after holding the lead for the final laps of the race.

Larson started the race in third on the grid to finish second in stage 1, first in stage 2, and held off Keselowski for the checkered flag with a 3 second lead, following a spin which caused a final caution period. This marks Larson's first victory for Hendrick Motorsports in his #5 Chevrolet.

Qualifying was tabled for the weekend as the starting grid was set for the race based on a statistical formula that NASCAR will use for most races this season. This formula placed Kevin Harvick on pole for Stewart-Haas Racing. Harvick found himself in 18 by the end of stage 1, but by the end of the race had dropped to 20th.

Erik Jones had a stellar race in his #43 Chevrolet, starting 29 and finishing in 10, while Homestead-Miami Speedway's last weekend winner William Byron started today's race in second, but finished the race in eighth.

Michael McDowell finished 17th following his victory at the unpredictable Daytona 500 in mid-February.
